Never send a deposit. 90% of the time it will be a loss to you especially that high of deposit anything over $20 is way to much.

About 90% is accurate. I've sent deposits to girls I just had a feeling on, and they pulled through.

And I've given deposits to girls I've seen numerous times in the past that never required one. And got burnt.

I have a question for all hobbyist and providers if they care to chime in. Is the whole deposit / advance the new normal for this hobby? I reached out to 5 providers this morning and 3 responded with good rates but wanted $100.00 deposit to confirm my appointment. Maybe I'm just to old school but where is the need to even show up once they have more then half of our money? Clearly they don't want to put in the work to get the donation and why if we're just going to give money away on a promise they will be there at the appointed time and deliver what they're offering. It's a sad time for our hobby fellas. I guess it really is time for a war horse like me to retire.

I think it may be somewhat becoming semi-normal. Partially because apps are making it so easy for them to, and partially because, whether People here want to admit it or not, there are trash mongers out there just like there are trash providers. I had a regular that would constantly ***** about people setting up times, even going as far as saying they were at her place, only to never be there. Not every monger out there uses this forum and even some that do probably do this. Now, fuck $100 deposit, that's just asking to get scammed. But I can definitely see them asking for $10 or $20. I'm not saying I agree, nor am I saying you should just pony it up, but I definitely understand why some are doing it, even if they're well vetted.

Never saw her either but RIP Nicole. If that scenario or a similar scenario were to ever materialize my number would have been long gone. If you use your real contact info for this you're really setting yourself up for problems.
