They thought they were soliciting to minors. "During the two-day operation, detectives intercepted suspects who believed they were soliciting sex from minors through online and social media platforms. The suspects communicated with people they believed to be underage members of our community and arranged to meet them at a location to have sexual relations. When the suspects came to the location, they were met by police and arrested." I know two of the sites used were CL and STG. I think the social media site was either Switter or Twitter.

Another part of the plot was a location where you need a car. So they all got a second felony charge for use of a vehicle to promote prostitution. One of the couple of reasons why I don't do car dates.
