Is Porthole Pub still open? I looked on google maps and it appears they remodeled it with all glass floor to ceiling windows on the exterior. Highly doubt the city would allow a strip club to have windows looking in. I am concerned this bastion of sin may have since its final days.

No point in ever going to a club in Miami when DD is around. Went to DD last week on Sunday right before that epic storm. More guys and than girls but the girls were super fine. This place is great because you never get that catwalk "TiP fOR MaH DaNcE PaPi?" crap. I was chilling enjoying the view. One came up to me and I wasn't interested and she was totally cool with it. I had my eye on this Cuban fine girl but then I got picked up from another girl that was just as spectacular. She was a white Ecuadorian that claimed to be 19 (looked older). Didn't even do small talk, she got straight to the point. Paid 2. and she went at it hard in the lapdance room. The closest Strip Clubs to downtown Ft. Lauderdale are Goldfinger's on University and Vixen's in Davie. I would say both are about 20 min from the riverwalk.

Had an opportunity to visit Diamond Dolls on a visit to your city. Lots of eye candy there. I visited on two consecutive days. Never pulled the trigger to go to a room. My first visit was very short. Just stopped in to get a feel for a visit later that night. I met Juliette, a Cuban. She was just gorgeous. She was the hottest girl I saw in the time I spent in DD. I was short on time so I settled for one dance. It was fairly tame so maybe I didn't miss much. But beautiful girl. Bartender Jessica was very cool both nights.

Overall thoughts from a non-local was that the girls, at $$ seem to be a bargain for the area. There are some 8's and 9's there if beauty is tops on your list. It had a low pressure vibe. I probably could have spent $20 & stayed all night. (Didn't do that but just pointing out it's not a high pressure place, either from the girls ot bartenders.).

Nice place & will visit again if I return to S Fl.

I'm going to be moving (from out of state) to the Fort Lauderdale area later this summer so naturally I'm starting to scope out the area online in advance. When I try to search Google Maps for strip clubs or gentlemen's clubs in the downtown or central Fort Lauderdale area (basically anything directly east of Plantation), seemingly 99% of the results that I get are for gay clubs. Do the titty bars tend to just not be listed, or is that the actual ratio for this area? Should I expect to have to hop on the highway for a drive north or south for anything good?

I believe the Strip Clubs / Gentlemen Clubs that were in the Downtown Ft; Lauderdale area ie Spearmint Rhino, Solid Gold and The Doll House. Which were all within a few blocks of each other, on Oakland Park Blvd and Federal, are now closed and no longer in business.

Went in today around 2:30 pm. Pretty dead. Girls were sitting in the back by themselves. The dancers were pretty overweight and with bolt ons. Only one caught my eye. Checked out Porthole around 12 am last night. Crowded but the talent was lacking there were only two good looking strippers. One was a petite latina that was occupied the whole time I was there.
