I've been to Fannies several times and I've gotten use to the atmosphere. It's very laid back but the dances are costly. If anyone has been to both, which is better? I'm thinking about visiting Wax for the first time, but I'm more familiar with the crew at Fannies. Let me know. Thanks!

Since these clubs are literally across the street from each other, is it really too much for you to go check out Wax and determine if you like it? I'm pretty sure if you don't like it, you'll just run back to the comfort of Fannies, right?

You already know all you need to know. Wax dances are less than Fannies. Dancers are more "colored" than Fannies. Now go fill in the blanks and give us a report on your experience! It'll take you all of 15 minutes of your time to verify for yourself.

We're actually at the point where folks don't want to do any legwork on clubs within 2 minutes of each other. SMH.

Had not been to Wax due to the very long drive from SC. Usually limit myself to no further than Blaze due to drive time. Bit the bullet just for a quick look before heading to Blaze. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at 4:30 PM. Free to park and a friendly departing customer explained the parking protocol and gave me his good spot as he left. Doorman very cordial - $5 to enter. Thought this might be a rough crowd with lots of ratchet dancers. Nope. Mixed crowd with maybe 15-20 customers. Maybe 10 dancers. All AA of various sizes. Most huddled up in small groups, dancing, or on the phone. Took almost 5 minutes to be approached and danced a bigger boned light skin lady. I asked about the routine and she said if you see a thin lady you like just approach them. Some are very green, shy, or just wait to be asked. I didn't see a single lady working the room soliciting dances so that was my first take.

Danced 3 different ladies. Enticement was the name that stuck out to me and she was a medium framed lady in the 7. 5 range. Thought it might be topless. Did not observe any breasts. I was told that this was not really a strip club, but they do however have VIP where I can get "whatever". VIP was offered by all 3 but I didn't get into the details. So it was just a very laid back atmosphere, the club was clean and the smoke level was fine even though there was plenty of weed burning the whole time.

If I am in the area I wouldn't hesitate to try again. The ladies went from maybe a 4. 5 to 8. 5 so if your close by I can see it as a good option for VIP or OTC. Happy Hunting and thanks for the good direction from Frankie14.

I don't go on the weekends and know the dancers are most likely different ones from the weekday day shift. But the club atmosphere would be the same.

I agree. Just making sure you didn't misread and think that I was recommending Fannies. I don't recommend Fannies, and haven't been for nearly a year.

I went years ago when I was first starting to go to strip clubs in my youth. I remembered a time when my friend got kicked out cause he touched a girl's ass. As I remember correctly there were a lot of white girls however I don't recall if they were doing lap dances at the time. I was wondering how are they doing now? Anybody been lately? Is it worth visiting?

Lately is a relative term with Covid. I went about 6-8 months ago and girls were doing lap dances. So I would imagine they are still. When I went there were mostly white girls. They just don't offer as much contact as I like. So I prefer several others ahead of PP. I may go in the next few weeks since you asked and it's top of mind.

Went today just before 1 PM and there was a bartender and 4 dudes there. Shortly after 1, a black full figured DR with ltd English came out and when she danced for me said she was the only one. Then another full full figured white DR with ltd English, both had obvious store bought. Then a normal sized DR who speaks excellent English who was danced for me and by 3, there were about 10 dancers, include black spinners, the redheaded chick with bolt ons, and assorted colors, shapes, and sizes. I told one of the manages they are suffering from the chicken or egg syndrome, the dancers won't show up if the guys won't and the guys aren't coming if the dancers are not there.

I did get some excellent dances with stick shifting, etc. I do not know if it will make it.

There's much more. The increase in crime caused the fire department and city to impose restrictions that were not applied prior to a pretty high profile few months violence. The breaking point was the accusations of rape at the club. Prior to the rape there were a couple murders that occurred and where committed by people leaving follies and also a shooting INSIDE the club, although no one was hurt during the shooting. Combined with the loose canon bouncers that worked at follies and where a constant source or cause of police visits, the city ultimately shut them down. The liquor license issue was inconsequential, the violence and drugs. I know the guy who got his leg broken at follies and long time employees, trust me, they did themselves in. Most of the staff thought the run would never end.

Follies day shift sucks. The talent is sucks, the club setup sucks, the only reason they've gotten business or posts is because of the name and former managers And girls having their own promoters pump the club here, on another board and social media.

Wax has been great to me. My biggest issue has been reconnecting after finding a great dancer. I haven experienced much GPS, but there can be visits where the talen is subpar and expectations are off. What shift does pandora work? Also what's the name of the other you recommend? Hot chocolate has been my go to. There's a chick from NY that gives great dances as well, although I can't remember her name right now. I haven experienced much GPS, but there can be visits where the talen is subpar and expectations are off. What shift does pandora work? Also what's the name of the other you recommend? Hot chocolate has been my go to. There's a chick from NY that gives great dances as well, although I can't remember her name right now. I will definitely need to visit Strokers sometime soon. Ever since MariGras shut down, I haven't had a good white stripper, much less a spinner. The only place I've seen decent white girls is Fannies, but it's too ratchet for my taste. And it seems the girls focus on their regulars so I've not found a good white spinner.

There are several girls at Wax who have come down from NY. They say the lockdowns have killed the business up there. You need to trade numbers at the soonest convenient time which makes it real easy to reconnect. If Medusa still works there she offered me a superb dance. Highly recommend. Although I haven't seen her lately. I really enjoyed Savage (she's from NY). I only go days so all these ladies are from day shift. I looked up Pandora's number and she's actually an escort from Pensacola who is visiting here, so not sure how long she'll be here. I'll text her in a few to see what her plans are, and maybe I'll stop by to see her soon. (Kanee (sp) does a decent dance as well. But I ticked her off by telling her $500 was ridiculous and I had better options so she sent me a rant ending with: "*****, byeee". So maybe a bit too crazy, LOL.).
