Posts: 9How's Tattletales in the age of COVID-19?
Last time I was there was shortly before lock down. The lack of cigarette smoke was nice, due to new ATL ordinance. Spent some $ on a dancer who was OK but annoying in conversation. Know it all about Jeffrey Epstein.
Anybody been recently?

Posts: 48What made Follies great was the sheer number and volume of young exotic women it had (Puerto Rican, Spanish, African, Mexican, White, etc). I think they would have over 100 girls working every night, which is why the line outside was so long due to fire marshal codes. I use to tell all the girls who wanted a dance I was drinking right now and needed to loosen up and just wait until a girl "naturally" talk up and flirted my willie to rock solid. Then I would get some dances from her. There were so many girls, that it could literally be more girls than patrons. Plus they had the secret want to be VIP couches for the same regular price of $10/ song.

Posts: 673Even a headache is better than the Rona. I've had shingles because I was told I didn't need to worry about it at the time. There wasn't a chickenpox vaccine when I was a kid, and I got chickenpox as a 6 year old. I have scars till this day due to scratching. If there is a vaccine for it, I'll take it. To hell with all that "I'll be tough" garbage. I'd rather not get sick.

Posts: 673I got the one shot j&j. A doctor friend of mine pointed me to it. I registered and got in. It is the one advantage of being fat. My BMI of 32 got me over the 30 hump here. I even called my doc to make sure.

Yes, get the shingles shots to. That's shingrex. It's two shots. I had the shingles. It got in my eye. I couldn't see for several days. I had to have eye surgery to see properly again. My vision is great now, just need a touch of reading glasses, but that's not a biggie. The shingles sucks. Had it for 12 weeks.
I survived a night, or was it morning, at the crystal palace. I survived boones farm. I feel almost immortal.
Now I just need a blonde bimbo with big tits shoving them in my face.

My arm was sore for 36 hours on both doses; after the first shot I was a little more tired than usual for about a day but no other effects. After the second dose, I had a headache 5-6 hours later but took Advil and knocked it back. Overall, really didn't have any reaction. YMMV. I was also very lucky to be way early in the vaccination line.
The great part is feeling more freedom and much less likely to get sick, but the downside is still having to remember to bring a mask everywhere. I'm ready to drop that habit.
Also, for all you guys who are 50+, make sure you get your shingles vaccination. Trust me, that's a virus you do not want to contract.

That's what I've heard too. I know a few older folks who fell ill for several days after their second Moderna shot. Not sure what reactions people are having with the Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson vaccines.

Posts: 1868Could be; most people, if they're going to have some aches, seem to have them after dose 2, but occasionally on the first dose.

Posts: 13634First or second shot? The VA called me out of the blue the other day and said they had extra doses left over and asked if I wanted to come in for my first shot. Did so and have a helluva headache today. Not sure it's related to the vaccine though.

I wanted to take a moment and remind everyoneI what Follies became before their deserved demise. The post above is a good example of the cesspool that became the once great Follies. I know we all talk about how good it was at one point, but it was no where close to good when they finally shut down. Ripoffs and disrespect for paying customers was the most likely outcome of a follies visit too 2017-2019. When you hear about "follies management", don't think of the owners who built a great business, think of the morons who ruined literal ATM by catering to drug dealers.

Posts: 1155Update on Vivid, Goldrush, Pinups
I was at Vivid yesterday afternoon from about 4-6, place was OK but not hopping. Got a few decent dances but no stick shifting. The one redheaded gal with store boughts won't play as nice as she did the very first time because I won't take her to VIP where she said she charges $2-$3. 3. 3. I have not seen the Boppsy Twins, also known as Dumb & Dumber, in a few weeks.
Anyway, I spoke to one of the managers who used to dance at Follies, she it the one that is sometimes on door-guard duty. She said that the place is essentially two business in one, she called it a hybrid. After 9 PM it becomes an almost regular nightclub but with dancers. All the chairs (not couches) and stages are removed and most everyone is up dancing. If you are there before 9 you can stay, otherwise it is whatever the door fee is for that night and last night was $100/ person and it was pretty much reserved already for some rap-star's birthday or something.
As for dayshift, they are still trying to get the girls and customers to show up regularly. There are two pretty hot looking Latinas who won't get off their asses on the couch at the bottom of the stairs and their phones unless you go sit with them. Bad for business.
Then went to GR and it was totally dead, one dance. Security said it was trick change but the girls are hovering in back, from 8-8:30 not a dang thing happening.
Then to Pinups for the first time. Three rooms, one large main stage area with one-side blocked off for VIP seating, a middle area which was OK but no real back wall, and a pool room\hookah bar where there are way too many lights on which prevents any real fun. Dances are $5 each but parking is $10 and entrance is $20 (no military discount). I started in the main room and did not realize when I sat down that I was right next to the door leading to the girls changing room. The air circulation was such that I was constantly breathing the smoke and weed of the guy to my left sitting 10 feet away. I then moved to the pool area which has far less smoke. Got a dance but did not have time to stay later.
Sorry for the novel.

Anybody up for a trip to the club today? Looking for some fun and hopefully for the little guy to come out and play. Seems like clubs are hit or miss unlike the bullseye we would all get at Follies. If someone is up for going out let me know.

Been to a few clubs over the years. Mainly pinups follies and strokers. A little at club wax.

What's so good about her?
Is it worth a drive just to see her?

Yes she does work at blaze and she is still giving those great dances. I saw her on a Sunday around 4 pm. She said she typically works around that time almost everyday. Go get that dance!
