As far as the terminology, A case will say closed even if the defendant didn't show up for her hearing, because once they issue a warrant for a no-show, the case has officially been adjudicated. Means, it's paused. Basically the courts can take no further action until she can be located. It's not closed or adjudicated. F5 drug possession can be up to 5 years and 10 K fine.
