First of all, the only person exaggerating anything is Alex herself.

If you know her you know she is a sweetheart, she is very smart and she could have the world by the balls. But you also know that she has a lot of demons and right now they are winning.

She has become a master at making people feel bad for her situation. A situation she put and keeps herself in and a situation she knew was coming before she ended up on Midlo.
