I only use video chat to confirm the girl is real. Never talk anything sexual when I video chat. Mostly just BS on how your doing, and what are your hobbies. I normally iron out the details my text on my burner number. Personally I do better in M&G. Did 2 video chats so far. One ended with FC, but girl had a attitude problem in person. So no 2nd date.

I have only done facetime chat a couple times, and very selectively, where it was essential to land a non-local dimepiece. I also treat the entire conversation as if it's being recorded and my mother would eventually see it. That's a tricky balance to be cautious without coming across as boring, but if you think about what attracts real girls to older men on SA, it's not that hard (hint: normal girls aren't into crudity or dick pics anyway, but a subtle and well-placed double entendre can be very effective).

BTW, I exercise the same caution with texting, even with a burner app. I only discuss details in person, which is why I move to meet & greets as quickly as possible. Add unless you're applying the most extreme measures, burner phones / apps are only effective if you're concealing your activities from people you live with.

But I'm also not going to discuss dating, arrangements, preferences, etc. With someone who could be recording it. I totally agree w foghorn here. I don't like to discuss anything over video chat. I had a feeling what I was getting into which is why I set up a new Skype account and didn't link my contacts. Also, she made some excuse about not being able to "talk" because hubby was in the other room, so I didn't hear her voice. She stripped down played with a toy and encouraged me to do the same. I'm just fortunate to have seen the video prior to the scam. It was surreal and a little entertaining to see the same model in the video.

That's true. I reported my first cash & dash (which, after the sting of loss subsided, felt like completing a rite of passage, BTW) to seemingly no concern on SA's part whatsoever. The girl's profile stayed open for months afterwards. They only care about their business. Reporting an underage profile, for example, results in a rather swift response.

I think you have found how to get the scammers ad taken down. Instead of reporting it as a theft, report the girl as underage. Tell them it wasn't the same girl in the pictures and it appeared she was being trafficked.

Wish they would region lock your main area. So you can't put DC when your IP comes back as LA. I know you can use a VPN to work around it, but it should help reduce the amount of scammers on the site. I'm fine with increase fees, but they need to provide us with better service and support. AS letting online only has just piss off most of us.

Sadly, SA is basically a monopoly; they can charge what they please and not do jack shit for us.

Yeah, I did look into it. The things you can report on are pretty worthless, and I'm sure they'd be quick to categorize it as "sex crime", which you cannot report on. I think vigilance is the key, hence the forum.

You can still do video chat. They get you by trying to get you to strip or jerk off on video. So just be smart about what you do on video.

I actually don't mind the increase in fee's, I think it keeps out the riff raff and increases odds for those of us who are serious about playing in the bowl. That said, it would be good to see some sort of charge for the ladies as well, for the same reason. To keep some of the scammer accounts down. Way to much time wasted dealing with fake accounts and girls who only want "online" which was (at least pre covid) not allowed.

With more people dropping SA or paying intermittently, it's no surprise that SA is raising rates. I'll continue to be an intermittent paid member till they clean up the fake profiles.

I agree, SBs need to pay something more to ensure that fake profiles get reduced. Not many scammers are going to pay without having an assurance of ROI.

Didn't any of her victims report her profile to SA? I'm surprised she's able to keep posting new profiles if what she's done has been reported to SA in detail (IE, armed robbery). SA is able to block users via metadata they scrub from your PC, but perhaps not surprising that this little enterprise has at least one computer savvy member to anonymize their profile (I'm guessing it's the thugs doing most of the work). Our little community really wants to self-police this kind of behavior and not involve any outside entities, in my opinion. Or just keep reporting her new profiles here. Eventually, karma will catch up to her, in one form or another.
