FYI, it is not the purview of a U.S. President to determine the yearly cost of living Adjustment COLA for retirees. I suggest you read up on COLA's so you know how it's calculated. Cost of Living Adjustments are calculated based on the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) from the third quarter of the last year a COLA was determined to the third quarter of the current year. If there is no increase, there can be no COLA. The CPI-W is determined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Department of Labor. By law, it is the official measure used by the Social Security Administration to calculate COLAs. Congress enacted the COLA provision as part of the 1972 Social Security Amendments, and automatic annual COLAs began in 1975. Before that, benefits were increased only when Congress enacted special legislation. Beginning in 1975, Social Security started automatic annual cost-of-living allowances. Interesting the idea's you have, but they are far from fact, most of the military loves Trump and what he has done to raise their pay, get them better equiptment and bring many of them home, I work with and meet military members of all branches every day, and not 1 has had anything good to say about biden, in fact they are scared of what he will to put their lives in danger. You act as though you speak for the military because you WANT them to agree with you when in fact recent polls show the military support Trump in a Landslide fashion.

I too interact with all mil branches daily in an environment where they can speak freely. Never heard anyone say they were scared of Biden as you put it. Tons of vocal trump support 2016-2018 but it's dead now. I've heard multiple Pro-Trumpers say they'd wish he would shut up and just work recently.
