Sounds like they're adopting a practice that is now a national requirement in the Dominican Republic. I lived there for three years and it had advanced to a requirement even for family members.

All visitors / guests had to pass by the check in desk and all hotels were set up so that there was only one choke point.

Thanks for that info. I know who Lancaster Liz is, I have seen her a number of times, including inside Gigi "grandmother's house" when they lived there together. Liz once told me that she was FROM NC is why I referred to her that way. I remember this specifically since I lived in the same area she said she had lived. I do remember there was another girl called NC Liz, I recall her as well. Wasn't meant to confuse. The girl I mentioned seeing this week was CONSIDERABLY thinner than I ever remember seeing Lancaster Liz and this girl's complexion appeared almost smooth as a baby's bottom.

I'm no expert by any means and have had my fair share of burns over the years so for what its worth. You already mentioned the paying up front thing which is the biggest one. Also I suggest picking your location (always away from where you picked her up) and not her location but one you chose. She doesn't want to get out and walk a mile or two back to where she needs to be and most of the time will deal more honestly. Also get all the rules out before anything starts, CIM, roaming, bb, taking care of the boys etc. Like I said, not trying to sound like I know anything at all because I don't but some of this works out much better I've found in my experiences. I saw a girl in the OQ that I passed close by and thought I recognized her eyes and face but I don't recall Liz being skin and bones. Her face complexion was actually quite smooth if it was her. She was acting paranoid as I passed by her which seems to be Liz's initial reaction to me when I had first seen her a while back.
