Ten thousand are dead in the USA Alone from the flu and many thousands more seriously ill from it but the media downplays those statistics because the flu just isn't as sexy and they can't scare us as effectively as they can with a sexy new Coronavirus. I'm not saying the Coronavirus is not serious because it is. It just needs to be put into perspective but that involves logic and common sense and therefore will not happen.

Kind of right. As the other gentlemen said, many are getting H1 N1 part of seasonal flu. It will soon become part of seasonal flu, but for now, I am staying home to avoid getting as well as spreading it to others. I think I will be fine as I am young, but I don't want to spread it to elderly people who will have trouble with it. I will give 15 days to see how it spreads.
