Agreed. Burner phone or some sort of disposable number app is absolutely mandatory. Even if you have no significant other. Don't use your real phone numbers for this stuff.

So much could go wrong, and it's so unnecessary. You don't want your real phone number to be low hanging fruit if someone gets picked up and they go through their phone.
