Swung by for the happy hr beer special. Stayed long enough to see the rotation. Victoria IMHO was the hottest (little curly red haired spinner) there. I tipped heron stage but she said another customer already asked for a dance so off she went. I would have liked to get a dance but since the fun may now be restricted due to the corner both situations maybe I saved my $.

First, I am glad she is still there, with all those leaving with the rule change. Her dances were some of the best there on the floor and in the V. I. P. Great with the ladies at night just off the stages. Loves to be loved, with an eye towards the money. She tried asking a lot more money during an earlier dance afterwards. I laughed and paid what I should. She usually charged $40.00 for a great dance, which was well worth it. You left satisfied, it just drained the pocket book, so unfortunately I have found myself looking for less pricey alternatives. She is definitely worth it and better than most the rest. Asking what dance is critical with all dancers <especially at Cocktail's at night-Do not leave the hallway until the next song or you WILL be charged!

It appears now that Wacko's is staying their same course for good. My regular friend told be in might change soon three weeks ago. Then the Centerfold's thing happened. And it's happening all over the state, recently Miami.

Long time once a month or so customer at Wackos. Never go with anyone, and mostly just like to enjoy an afternoon beer or three and see who is dancing. Always tip a few bucks on stage. Sometimes can be talked into a dance in the back.

Was enjoying my beer today and approached by. I don't know her name. But she just came back after being gone for 3 months. She says she was Brazilian. Dark hair and complexion. Nice body. Thinking she might be up for a little playtime. We headed to the back half way through a song. She asked if she should start. I told her no. Wait for next song. She then danced three songs. I told her to stop. She said wow, we have had like 7 songs. I told her no. It was three. It took her a minute to get all dressed with shoes and all. She said she would ask the guy at the door. He said we were back there for 5. I told them the first she didn't dance and the last she was putting her clothes on. I paid / tipped her more than the 90 $ that was due. The dances were rather good, but not like 7 songs that she tried to get over on me. I sat down by the money stage and she came by and told me I needed to pay her some more money because the manager had charged her for 5 songs. I told her to take her bullshit somewhere else.

Then another dancer sat by me and we sort of discussed the overcounting incident. Lo and behold Ms. Brazil comes over and tells the other dancer not to waste her time with me because I cheated her out of songs. Th Manager then spoke to me in the VIP area. He seemed to understand where I was coming from. He said that he would speak to her.

Fellas- watch out for the girls that can't count and can't get dressed fast enough to cost you another 30 $.

Shame that that hustle was being tried. I guess with extras on the extreme decline. They try to make it up somehow.

Every club has dancers who try this crap. As we're walking into the back I tell the door guy "We'll start next song. " If I get multiple songs I count them off out loud, "This is two, right?" and get her to agree on the running count. If she's taking her time getting dressed, I tell her I'll meet her at the podium and walk over so the door guy knows she's not dancing that song.

The door guy at a club typically knows which dancers are scammers. I've had this happen multiple times over the years, and I've only had the door guy screw me on the count once. I still haven't been back to that club.

Hit Sins on Tuesday and they had just converted the 2 last booths to a 45 per dance area. They added a beaded curtain to give you a little more privacy. I guess with the right girl it may be worth it. I opted for the booth right next to it and had a good time. I was early so it was a little slow and girls were just arriving.

What are they thinking? Wackos has been visited by LEO a couple of times due to behavior in the corner booths. Centerfolds just got raided. And now they go and add the very thing that is sure to interest LEO? A semi-private area? Stupid. Lets just paint a big bulls eye on the front door. And there really isn't anyone there worth $45 a song either.

It's not like it's just Jacksonville. There are a LOT of places in this country that are like that. Some places have the law in their pocket enough (or they're just friendly enough) that they can ignore the rules, but plenty don't.

Some places have topless only with booze. Some are bikini only with booze.

Absolutely true. Where I live there's only one club, a bikini bar, and their motto appears to be Save the Manatee. Dudes tip some of those chicks to put clothes back on. I drive an hour each way to hit the Jax clubs because it's worth the effort.

I used to travel all over the country pretty regularly for business and I have to say Jax is easily in the top 10-20% for extras in strip clubs among the cities I visited. JSO just needs to try busting some real crimes for a change and leave us the hell alone.

That's why the Jax clubs are split. Sinsation's and TDH are nude with no booze, while as far as I know the rest of the clubs are all bikini bars with alcohol. Some chicks will get their tits out in the other clubs, but they're risking a ticket when they do.

Like I said, it's BS but that's the way it's been as long as I've been playing in Jacksonville.

I finally checked out NSG on Blanding this week. Nice club. I went once during the day and night shift another day. Seems to be pretty laid back and not much going on compared to Sins / Wackos. Anyone have a different experience? If so, who should I look for on days preferrably but will take night time suggestions as well. PM is ok if need be. Thanks in advance.

Although I lived in Jax for a year, I am still not familiar with anything. One thing that has remained a constant though is that this First Baptist place seems to damn near RUN the city. Why the hell is that? Why are city officials so damn scared of a freaking church? What am I not getting?

There is a phenomenon in the religious community in northeast Florida that I have not heard of in other parts of the country, in that there is an ancestral relationship in a large percentage of the churches in the greater Jacksonville area. Take the Catholic churches out of the equation and maybe a couple of others, but well over half of the churches in the area are interrelated. Many churches with very large congregations like Eleven 22, Celebration and many others received their startup funds from other older more established churches in the area and ultimately report back to them. Hence, the leaders of these primary churches yield tremendous political influence as when they determine which politicians to support and this is broadcast throughout all the affiliated congregations, elections are won or lost based upon that support. The only way around this that I can see, is if the politicians are savvy enough to have evidence of these church elders having coitus with a sheep.

JSO used to routinely raid the clubs and charge girls with all kinds of crazy things. There are pretty specific guidelines the dancers have to follow for dress code and "lap dances. " They seemed to have loosened their interpretation of the dress code in recent years. There was a time when wearing a thong in the bar got you a trip to jail. Duval County is also a no contact County. ZERO physical contact between dancer and customer during a private dance. Grinding on a guy is a simulated sex act. Believe it or not I have seen them charge dancers for simulated oral sodomy because her HAIR touched his lap during the dance.

What kills me is that you can walk into ANY nightclub and see people dry humping or worse on the dance floor and no one bats an eye. You can go to the beach on any given day or ANY gay pride event and see people dressed in much worse than the average dancer and no one says a word.

First Baptist says strip clubs are bad. So strippers get hassled. Plain and simple.
