There is a lot we agree on but not all of it. Yes it is harder for bookers and the girls getting booked without all the advertising they got from CV and TER. That said when business becomes tough the business owner offers more giveaways such as a reduced rate or better service for that customer retention you speak of. Personally I never experienced BBFS as being rarely accessible and I've been hobbying for over 10 years. It was frequently available then and now with the more difficult business situation it has become even more frequent. That's why I have always said in reference to BBFS or any other level of service it is always YMMV. Those restaurants you mentioned, if the dollars begin to shrink, will wind up giving smaller portions or serving lower quality food. That is an economic reality. As far as the "old timers" most of us have developed relationships with bookers over the years and don't have to take a chance with the unknown, unreliable or unscrupulous bookers. M, J, Sunny, etc. Are still around and make life pretty easy for us.

I combine research in them (which is not always reliable) and this board and use my contacts with the bookers and other mongers to find what I'm looking for. Yes it's not easy for newbies but if you do your due diligence you will find the shining stars. They are out there and they are plentiful.

The down of TER and CV made three tasks difficult:

1) For bookers: Attraction of new monger and increasing client and hence the bookers are trying to keep old timers happy / aka customer retention.

2) For hobbyist: Made it hard for the Newbie breaking into the scene.

3) For past hobbyist: Challenge for the old timers is to take chance and find a booker who is not fraudulent and there are good amount of bookers that are not so reliable, deceptive and shady bookers like Aki (DTKTLA KAKAO Talk) that are still around and lie all the time.

There is less $$$ around for the bookers and if you are eating in same establishment, you are getting special menu from time to time and more often than before.

Hey, this is like every other industry: you have to constantly do research, check your sources, keep notes that need to be regularly updated, cross-check a dozen websites, confirm information in the forums and then do it all over, again and again and again and again. Isn't that how you buy pizza and search for hotels when you travel?

To me, the lack of CV and TER has had four main effects for mongers: (1) The on-ramp for new mongers barely exists now, so the ladder has been pulled up and the barriers to entry are now too high for any new guy to reasonably overcome; (2) Provider performance is down substantially; no reviews = poor service. Imagine if Yelp died -- guess what would happen to restaurant performance?; (3) Risk-taking is way up; unless you are repeating, you are TOFFT in a big way; (4) USASG has become a critical lifeline. I'm grateful you guys are here!

I would say keep it personal; there are many ways of doing it. K-agencies used to be worth the higher price than Thai's and Chinese for providing model materials cheaper than HX girls. If that's important to you, once a K-agency on HX offers two Viet girls for a higher price of $300 / hr. I tried one of them, not Hai, and totally worth the little extra. I usually tip $20 so it was nothing to me. In the good old days, you don't need to pay extra for that. Even the apartment next to the Double Tree has slightly older veterans who have nice pictures and great legs.

Then they move the goal post to giving you MILFs, CIM, P2 P. And now cum dumps from "top tier" agencies with L of 5 for BBFS. If you are new I would advise people to do medical research first if that's for you. You can get that a lot cheaper going into Palace the MP.

Now, maybe nobody tells you this before, HX bookers deal with home visits too. I was surprised. Of course, independents who manage their own accounts do that all the time. But depending on the girls, the same booker may act as the management or the assistant.

I still like HX for the crowd still bark at totally fake pictures, except for the Asian houses. You don't find the sort of pretty girls like Summmer elsewhere, not eros not cv. Now, if you have enough cash, I bet she will do Greek for you. I bet DFK should be no problem if she likes you even though it's not on the menu. Everybody has a price.

It's pretty demoralizing hearing about the best time I've had with a korean agency "not comparing at all" with M. Not that I'm doubting you. It's that us newbies (who joined within past couple of years) who didn't get in with M now probably never will.

As someone who's pretty much tried all the K agencies in LA I have to recommend Palace as the best out of the bunch at the moment but knowing that there's a barred door labeled "M" on it kinda just sucks.
