I don't have a good answer for you but I'll mention something I don't like about the one I tried. TextFree. I hoped it would have its own contacts list, but no. It relies on your regular contact list. Ain't no way I'm mixing personal contacts with hobby contacts. Too much can go wrong. Like fat-fingering a name on a contact list and sending a hobby message to a colleague, relative, or God forbid, my mom. Also, the app would have access to my contacts which means the company probably does too. I don't trust them.

I don't use it much. And I disallowed contacts access.

I am curious if there's one out there that has seperate contacts.

Saw a regular and bam out of the blue she sends a rambling text about not being able to see me. Some guys like to knock others down to make themselves look better. I was putting more in than I was getting out so it worked out for me.
