It sounds like the following are important: 1) prepaid VISA to pay for membership 2) burner phone for privacy 3) some way to deal with self photos.

I've come across a few methods on these forums for dealing with self photos: 1) use Badoo to find a look-a-like photo 2) use one real photo, that is not on any social media site, keep it private, and only show it once you are in communication with a SB 3) use a real photo, make it public, but blur your face. In any case, it sounds like once you are in communication with a SB over text or app (such as Kik), then it is okay to send a couple real photos. Am I summarizing this correctly? Any other tips for maximizing privacy, while still being effective on the site?

What do you all normally use to book a hotel while maintaining privacy? Do you use a pseudonym?

Incidentally, a while back I randomly met a girl at a bar in the city. During conversation she mentioned her "friend" is on SA. A few days later, we went on a date for drinks. If you already have a nice rotation of indy or agency pros that give you what you enjoy and you can fit into your schedule and budget, then SA may not offer you a whole lot.

But if you're tired of that rotation, don't like the agency scene, or are looking to recapture some of the feeling of 'hooking up' then it may be worth the time and expense.

It's pretty damn amazing when it works, but can also wear thin quickly if you're running short on patience, free time, or play money. And there's been some changes to the site lately that some of us feel have made the game more difficult. But if you're intrigued it's certainly worth one $90 shot to see how it goes. As the others suggest, if you find that initial investment daunting you won't enjoy the next steps that put meet-and-greet dates, time out of your schedule for less than sure things, and hotel rooms on you.

Same experience awhile back. Seemed real and non-pro, and she was in my area, but contact just tailed off as any talk of a M&G came up. Made no attempt to rinse or push for pre-payment, and she's back active on the site after I originally chatted with her months ago, so not sure what she's looking for off of SA. You seem to cast a very wide net LOL, so probably not worth more effort especially if anyone else had a similar experience with her.
