So I just signed up for premium membership a few days ago. Have sent maybe 30-40 messages now, maybe about 6 replies. Only 1 turned into a phone number so far. Most of the replies are a few words, I reply then don't get a second reply. Out of the 40 messages only about 10 or so clicked on my profile.

The one girl I've been texting agreed to dinner, but then told me she was working Friday night and would need 1 k for the night. Studies show that condoms reduce the risk of acquiring HSV by, best case, about 50%. 3) Blood test for HSV antibodies can give a false negative for many weeks, even a couple months, after the first outbreak. A negative HSV blood test tells you, with certainty, that the person tested was clean as of about 3 months prior.

Thanks for the heads up on the auto-renew. My membership expires today. I closed out my profile, as I do not want the auto-renew, and I could not find an option without it.

You can cancel autorenew on the website, just go to settings, payment, and theres an option to cancel autorenew on that screen.

I wonder what would happen if the auto-renew transaction got declined (which would happen if the original sign-up was with a gift card). I'd be ok with it just going back to a 'standard' membership, but having to close your profile to take a month or two off from Premium status is pretty harsh.

This and the removal of mobile apps has really hurt the site over the past few months, IMO. I think they forget that a lot of girls in the demographic that makes the site tick never actually get in front of a keyboard and monitor for their online activities. Its smartphone or nothing. I'm sure everyone's personal experience could be different depending on when they joined and their particular area & search filters, but it feels like last summer there would be a page or two of 'Newest' to review every few days. Now one scroll to the bottom of 'Newest' goes back 2 weeks. It's mostly the same old faces over and over, and that's kept me in non-Premium for awhile now.

Not sure what they would do to your account if the auto-renew just failed the next month. Hopefully just remove your Premium status and not take down your whole account.

You want a gift card (Vanilla, Target Visa, MetaBank, etc.), not a 'prepaid credit' card. You're right that most of the true prepaids (NetSpend, GreenDot, etc.) require you to register with a verifiable name, address, etc. But you can 'register' a gift card with a dummy name & address or sometimes just a zipcode and just parrot back that fake info when you use it online. The only complication may be that SA now wants to set up all billing as an auto-renewing recurring transaction and that may not always work with gift cards. Not sure what they would do to your account if the auto-renew just failed the next month. Hopefully just remove your Premium status and not take down your whole account.

I personally miss the single month option and the ability to pay using iTunes. It was really easy to set up a dummy iTunes account with no real name or credit card, load it up with iTunes gift cards, and renew that way. Wasn't that long ago they also had 2-week plans for around $50 on the iPhone app. At my best I could reload with a half-dozen new numbers in that time and then stop paying for the site. But the iPhone app disappeared a few months ago from the app store and never came back. This is very useful information. Some of the other websites (not SA) seem to allow buying of credits (secret benefits, ashley madison) which seems more useful. But the AM site seems to be full of scammers.

Women don't have to pay for premium, they can get premium if they register with their college e-mail and I'm sure there are other free ways as well.
