Whether you use an escort service, BP, SA or SW, you always need to look at the risk / reward for your activities. Lots of married guys who worry about sending pics to a lady off SA think nothing of going BBFS with her. Each person needs to determine their own level of comfort about what info they want to divulge and what precautions to take. For example I never give out my real phone number, but use my real first name and send pics once text communications are established. The bottom line is that if you want to meet the real "first-timers" or amateurs off SA you're going to have to send them pics of you. I agree with Admin2 that the SD / SB relationship in the end is sex for money. The difference is that the real SB maintains the right to be selective as opposed to the Pro. Part of that selection is knowing what you look like. There may be exceptions, but they will be few and far between.

How are you guys handling this. I'm uncomfortable posting my picture to my profile, but so many SB really want you to do that. Also, after charring some of them up they want me to text them pics. Again, uncomfortable with this. I'm not married or anything, but I don't know them from a hole in the ground, and really don't want to send my pic to a scammer, or to someone looking trap or extort. Thoughts?

Its pretty natural that a girl is going to want to see who she is talking to or going to meet, the same as you would. If your that paranoid this is probably not for you and would be best if you stick with what you know.

So, what would be the cause of worry in a situation like that? Your pic is on some girls phone, so what? What consequences would there be? I'm genuinely curious what your thinking is that would bring on such over cautious behavior, when you're wanting to hang out with these girls in the first place.

Actually, one of the first girls I was chatting with asked me for that and I didn't proceed because I thought she was up to something. But I found out that it's really more about having a pic on their phone. Maybe they talk to a number of fellas. They probably want to have the pic associated with the name when they receive a text or call from you. I know, for me, I got two mixed up one time because I can't keep up with all of those different profile names. I asked one about her dog and she had no idea what I was talking about. I realized that I got her mixed up with another chick. Or, they could be trying to see if you have another picture to make sure you're real. As for profile picture, I don't have one posted publicly but I have a private profile pic that can be viewed upon request.

I'm not married, so obviously don't have to worry about discretion as much as married guys, but I have one profile pic that shows my features, but is kind of dark and grainy. For the true ladies that are looking for just one or two SDs or a long term thing, they are going to want to see clear pics of you before meeting. Once I move them to text I have no problem sending these to them. Plus it lets you ask for more pics of them. Only Pros, UTRs or one of those two in training won't ask for pics. Since I'm looking for the true amateurs, I actually use it as an indicator of someone I DON'T want to see.

Enlighten me, what would a scammer do with your pictures? I'm serious and not trying to be a smart ass.

I'm just curious what you think would happen if you sent them to someone like that and maybe it's good advice for everyone here as well.

I've sent my private pictures before and never had any issues. I just finished my second tour on SA. Sometimes you just got to take a leap of faith I guess.

If someone told me that would contact my wife, I would tell them not to bother that I would just go ahead and tell her what was up.

I normally just ask them what their expectations are from an arrangement and let them know what I'm comfortable with. I've gone through chatting with a bunch of girls that I told we were not even in the same ball park. We just keep it moving and wish each other well. I don't think I've ever brought it up first except with the most recent encounter. But we'd already done the deed and she was getting dressed, so I offered to pay for her nails to get done since she had mentioned something like that over text a few days earlier. But she wouldn't accept anything.

Who is typically the first to bring up the financials in the discussion? Tips on how to start or handle that conversation?

My first SA encounter, she flaked. I kept my cool, stayed cordial, and figured maybe she got cold feet. She came around the following day when I still had the room and we spent a couple of hours together. Used her initial flaking out as leverage for a lower "allowance".
