FWIW, I think the trend towards women shaving their pubes was more because of the rise of strip clubs in the 90's (the era of the movie "Showgirls", the Motley Crue song "Girls, Girls, Girls", etc.), since strippers often shaved so no hair would show when wearing a g-string. The models in Playboy and other magazines reflected that trend.

I actually don't like the "fully shaved" look at all, or even the heavy Bush type thing. I like a nicely trimmed Bush etc. I find that SEXY as hell.
