This is the least I want to see. Not a really active solo hobbyist myself, so I do not my regular life get bothered like that, since they have my phone number, sometimes email address. Also all my encounters are TER reviewed, and I could not even leave a too negative reviews because I'm even relying on the 2-3 providers I've seen as referrals.

Talking about referrals / screening, just saw this Atlanta provider traveling in my area, shoot her a TER PM, an email went nowhere. On her site she wanted photo of DL or working badge, employer name etc just for screening purpose? Way too much info required, hell no. If a provider is misrepresenting, by all means call her out and leave. This is easy to do with incall. Not so with outcall. They definitely do not want to make a scene at their hotel room (well, most of them LOL). It is a business transaction after all. I've left a few times. When I started in the hobby, I'd usually see a hot chick in a pic on BP, decide to visit and then open a door to see 1-2 African American chicks trying to scam guys. If they were cute and I felt safe, I'd typically offer less $ and go from there. However, a lot of providers, do not post their real pics for LE protection or don't show their face. I'd suggest not to have any expectations when seeing a provider. You do need to find a few favs and stick with them. I've actually have become friends with a few providers (Zienna Brooks who is totally awesome and Kayana Kaye who's my favorite and takes me out for my birthday past few years.). I've only seen three providers, all based on good reviews (overall in the 7/10 range tho), but two out of three were kinda of letdown. The most recent experience, I went to a traveling provider who happened to be in my area, TER has generally good reviews, but when she opened the door, at least 50 more lbs compared to the no-face pictures. I didn't want to be rude so I still got in the tried it, but felt like wasting my time and money, since that's not really below my expectation. But she did prepare for my arrival and etc, so what would be the best thing to do if I'm in the same scenario next time, turned away immediately? Pay some for the preparation and left? TIA.

Providers use lots of marketing techniques to persuade you to make that initial call and further persuade you to come out to see them. Probably the biggest complaint you'll read on this forum is the use of pics that are blatantly fake, old or otherwise misrepresent the provider's appearance.

Yeah, she prepared for your visit but had she used accurate pics you probably wouldn't have called her in the first place. No need to be rude about it but there's nothing wrong with saying that you had different expectations from what you saw in her ad. Also no need to feel obligated to give her any kind of "cancellation" fee because, again, you wouldn't have made the appt had she posted honest and accurate pics.

On a side note, these scenarios are why I'm not a fan of outcall. When the girl is at your door she can make a scene to put pressure on you to go through with the session or give her $ to shut up and go away. It makes a big difference when you're the one who can turn and walk away.

This is a request for some help. I am moving out to somewhat west of Manassas, and that is an area I am almost totally unfamiliar with. Advancing age, and the limitations of a fixed income, have significantly slowed my participation in the hobby, but I still get the itch and don't know the area well enough to find an appropriate scratching post. Along with what Mike said, the experience of getting told to go to a certain floor but not getting the room # is not that uncommon on a first visit with a provider. I have had that happen many times.

You're silly. The worse that can happen is she puts your number on a list for other providers to stay away from you. These girls use their instincts and cancel on us, so bully for you that you used your noodle and bolted out of a situation that could have gone bad. Two things I want to mention though:

If she is a known and reviewed provider she may have had you walk past the door so she could see you and check you out. It's too late for her once she answers the door, so she gave you the peephole treatment. And.

You can change the number in a burner phone. If providers stop answering because you might be on some list then change the number.
