Traveling in from afar I landed in Kensington Ave (not K Street) on Sunday evening & was amazed to see dozens of SWs. In the years I have been running the strip I have heard some nasty stories about various rooms. If I were to use one I would need to know the owner very very well. I always believe the safest spot is one that I scout out myself. The Carlyle at 15th and Poplar used to be $20.00 for one hour. Not certain if that's changed. It is the most readily available to the vicinity. I would say an established business is the safe way to go. There are a few "short stay" establishments around. They offer the room for a few hours at a reduced rate. Going north on the Boulevard to Bensalem there are a few before the turnpike. And of course there's the Mall Motel on Old Lincoln Highway. A dingy dive but meets the immediate need. Bensalem can be a wrong move at times because they do stings periodically. Those law enforcement departments will often enlist the girls to turn the johns in and any drug dealers they may know of to avoid arrest. Wish I had better info for you. In Cinniminson and. J.
