If you live in Wake County, and you bring someone back to your place, all they have to do is look your address up online and they know everything about you. Your property tax records with your name, your wife's name, how much you paid for the house, etc. Are all public record and online. If you are trying to remain anonymous, bringing someone back to your house may not be the best plan.

I should clarify, NEVER have I entertained a Backpage hooker coming to my HOUSE. These are non-BP girls and if you bring them back at night, in the dark, not only can't they see the street sign, they can't see the house number. It's basically what you'd do with a CL hookup. On rare occasion, I might do this, but 90% of the time I have, it's been with a UTR / CL girl, or someone I have met in the past. In any case, I have no problem asking the girl to meet at the gas station and follow me back. If they refuse to do this, they've probably failed some kind of screening for shadiness or bad intentions anyway. I was kind of joking in post #15449, but I would expect there to be some truth in that reasoning. It definitely feels much better if you are the one looking out and checking to see who exactly is coming. There are of course different risks; I'd be reluctant about allowing a stranger into my house. I've done it that way a couple of times long ago (stupid but lucky, I guess), but these days I prefer neutral territory for outcalls. Another drawback is that walking away is not possible. Same as with first-time non-commercial sex: better not do it at your own place. So basically, I would only do it when I'm pretty damn sure I'm meeting someone to my liking and whose photos are real; but then, I'm trying to achieve the same for incalls.
