Ok, after my first few reviews, I learned not to bother reporting that places were legit. I've continued occasionally getting an AMP massage, but they've all been typical Missouri massages. (I got a decent one from Kim at Peking in Clayton, but she quickly "moved to LA", according to the papasan, so no point writing about her.).

But a recent experience at Peking was particularly terrible, and worth a report.

Called to make an appointment early on a weekday morning. Papasan said I had an appointment. Arrived at correct time (about 30 minutes after calling), and papasan told me to wait in the waiting area for a few minutes. I saw a short man going into someone else's massage "room", and I was glad I wasn't going to be massaged by a dude.

After about 5 minutes, older woman took me back to my room. She was extremely shy. I laid down, under a full-body drape, and she massaged through the drape. She massaged badly. It seemed like she had no idea how to do a massage. It was literally a waste of time. I just lay there, wishing it would be over.

After maybe 7-10 minutes, the "massage" stopped and I heard a bit of rustling. I looked up, and the room was empty. I put my face back into the hole, and within a minute, there was more rustling, and then the drape became a butt-drape, and hands starting massaging me again.

Pretty quickly, it became obvious that my masseur was now that short man I'd seen earlier! I guessed that he had still been massaging his previous customer, so that's why they'd had me wait. And then they had someone else massage me until he finished with that customer.

I was disappointed, to put it mildly. But I told myself that at least now I'd get a good massage. Certainly not an arousing one ("I think it moved, Jerry" but at least an invigorating and intense one. Men and women massage differently, and I was trying to look on the bright side.

Except that his massage was terrible. Not as bad as the first woman's, but still not worth paying for. So it wasn't going to be arousing, and it wasn't going to be invigorating (for lack of a better word).

Then there was more rustling, and the massage continued. I thought maybe someone had stepped into the room to signal something to my masseur. But eventually, I realized that it was now a woman massaging me. Not the first woman. This woman took over from the man without me even noticing a break in the action (or an improvement in the massage).

Now I became more aware of the rustling noises and what they meant. There was another rustling, and now the man was massaging me again. More rustling, and a woman again.

I was just wishing the hour would be over quickly. That's not a sign of a good massage. It wasn't arousing, it wasn't relaxing, it wasn't invigorating, it wasn't anything good. I was taking a break from work, so at the end of my massage, all I felt was, "I wish I'd gotten an hour of work done instead".

At the end of the massage, the woman tried to be nice. She seemed sorry about the massage. She dressed me, which was very nice.

Even if they don't do HEs or allow DIY much, they surely know that most guys want an arousing massage. They must know that giving you a male masseur without asking is not going to be ok. And the first 10-ish minutes were utterly awful.

For the past year or so, I've mostly been going to Peking just because it's convenient to get to. But this was just too much. I'll never go back (until some report on here about a new hot *female* masseuse.).

I commend you on your patience. With all the rustling and switching up of masseuses I would have been pissed and asking why did I pay for an hour to get a crappy massage by multiple people?

That's what I've found too. I moved from Saint Louis 3 weeks ago to San Diego and it's dead forum in comparison. I pm'd 2 seniors and got no replies. I found a local backpage favorite and might work on a few more. If you give me some time I can work on AMPs here but that's not usually my flavor. There's a very simple reason why the sex industry is slower in San Diego. Tijuana. I have traveled extensively for years and decided long ago not to have the same avatar for too many locations. I don't ever want my actual travel schedule to (too) closely match my location postings. This for the purpose of domestic tranquility, as this is after all, a discoverable resource for shysters.

Keep in mind that there are regional favorites as far as posting and review boards. Unfortunately, some areas are starved for intel and / or resources. Developing some trust among other mongers has always resulted in the best referrals. We actually managed pretty well before there were any internet boards (gasp).
