How do you spot them?

I can spot heroin users almost instantly in those backpage ads, and no, I don't have to look for trackmarks either. They're just easy to spot. Particularly among the white chicks. In fact, I'd say probably 50% of the current girls on there right now are on heroin or meth. And to me, heroin = meth as far as the associated drama and danger is concerned.

Some will, some won't. I do know that most providers are inundated with nasty, disrespectful texts, so some just don't read their texts very often. Some refuse to text because they figure they can get some sort of read on a potential client on the phone. I prefer to text at first to learn location, donation, etc. And then I don't mind talking on the phone at some point, often upon arrival.

How often do you guys text a girl for initial contact and to inquire about rates?

I've texted 7 or 8 girls over the past couple of days and only 1 has responded.

Fellow mongers. Saw the below story today on WRAL. Guy was robbed by 2 people hiding in bathroom of extended stay off Glenwood Ave while meeting a provider. This is always my worst fear. Poor guy had to go down to the front office in his boxers to report the robbery. The story doesn't indicate if anyone was arrested, but I'd monitor this article for updates and keep an eye on the WRAL mugshots section for robbery arrests on 1/7/15. Maybe we can pin down which provider this was related to.

I think you have one hell of an amazing talent if you can tell something is off or even the personality by a text. But I am a bit curious, How do you even know if you are even talking to the provider? How do you know if it just isn't a well written statement by a handler / Pimp? Lastly, even if this person uses correct text tones, timing, language? How do you know this person isn't "street / ghetto". I think you leave yourself open on to many levels to take an added chance of at least not talking to a provider directly. Granted, this is and can be a dangerous game we play, but I think to play it well you have to take advantage of the entire board and not just some of the pieces.

Maybe so, but I've never had a problem arise from it. I've known a few times when I most certainly was NOT talking to the provider, and headed into the situation with the according caution, but played dumb the whole time so they'd think they had the upper hand. You are a prolific hobbyist. If I were seeing 3-5 women a week, my luck may have already run out! I dabble very carefully, and don; t even contact (text or otherwise) unless I've thoroughy sifted through previous ads and done some investigating.

I've probably text-setup something with a girl more often than via voice call, and IMO, I've never seen an advantage to the phone call. Maybe it's an age thing. I can tell if something's off by the personality of the text, timing, language, etc.

Some of my best experiences have been after text only, however there are times I will need to call if the vibe isn't right. I text because I am at work, I text regulars, I text when I'm not in the mood to hear baby, and sweetie every other word. There is something a bit more reassuring About a chick willing to text IMO. I also use an app called burner instead of using my real number because I'd rather get a random text back than a random call back. The burner app allows for more texting than using minutes. Agreed, I prefer to speak to a provider first so I can listen to those little clues you might hear, but afterward I only text for the next few steps in the arrangement.
