I carry all the time, mongering our not. For me, it's always last resort or if a real threat presents itself quickly then it would be immediate. One young provider freaked that I carried but was cool with it when I told her I had a CCW license. Not sure why that made a difference but it did.

At the risk of waking a now dormant argument, unrelated to this post's topic, I'm curious about one poster's comment regarding mongering while armed.

As we all learn in CCW class, being armed gives us greater responsibility to avoid conflict, not less, and I'm not sure under what circumstances the use of lethal force would be legal in a mongering-turned-robbery situation. Obviously, if our safety is seriously at risk, we have a right to self defense, but saying, in essence, "any pimp messes with me is going to get shot," is either bravado or short-sighted.

Having said that, I wouldn't go into some of the questionable areas or situations mongers face without being armed.

(As a side note, I sure wouldn't go carrying a big clunky "judge.

So, I'm curious about your thoughts on the matter; do you carry while mongering, would you use your firearm only for safe retreat, except as a last resort, where do you keep it (I myself never fully undress the first time), what are the implications of having a gun on you in the commission of a crime, etc.

This seems like a topic where we might learn from one another. I'm not interested in chest-thumping, but rather in rational opinions about the pros and cons of mongering armed.

I received more calls today from 'newbies' offering up a copy of their DL and promises of $$ for a meet and greet than I have all year.

My spidey-sense is tingling, maybe I just have jet lag, or maybe hobbyists are actually reading my website. Who knows?

You're absolutely correct Molly. That's why I said my comment doesn't apply to ALL providers. However, it does apply to most. That's just the cold hard truth. Now about the whole central dogma thing, not a damn clue what you're talking about LOL.

It's becoming an all-too familiar pattern that providers who are stellar fall into a downturn of unreliability or downright flakiness (is that a word)? I've been disappointed so many times by providers who I become a regular with who all of a sudden won't return texts / calls, stand me up for scheduled appointments, or simply drop off the radar. Is it the drug culture sucking them down? Is it just me, or do you guys see this all to often. Since I'm farily new to the hobby, it could be that I just trust people too much.

Some of the SP are good about returning texts and some are very hit or miss. One SP that advertises on here a lot rarely returns texts and I have not been able to hook up with her. Another 5-star well known provider on here stood me up one time. Was so excited to see her, went to her apt, knocked, texted, called and nothing.

I think it is the nature of the beast. I have to tell myself these ladies don't sit around waiting for the phone to ring and are not at our beck and call. When I get a hankering for a dream, I send out 2-4 texts and see what bites I get. I use Google texting and it is so exciting to see the Google text box turn blue. Meaning I got a return.

I know how you guys feel. I have been stood up even by so called 5 star providers that I have seen a number of times in the past. What they don't relize is that if they build up a steady customer base, they will have no worries of having to see newbies or Uncle LEO. So we as mongers play ping pong with our phones.

The majority of these women will always fuck you if you trust them. In a bad way. Most are drug addicts and they could give two shots about you or me buddy. The skills that they display in customer service and sales (which they are essentially doing for a living) is laughable. A high school education is probably few and far between. An escort with her head on straight can make a killing. To find that girl, we probably have to shell out a lot more $, so we settle for this LOL. Not bashing ALL providers on this board, just letting the truth be known.

Sorry, I am bored at work. Thought it would be interesting to share any crazy, unusual, funny hook up stories whether civilian or pro.

#1 When I was in middle school I was a scrawny shy kid and this jewish kid picked on me. Fast forward 15 years and after hitting the bars we hit a local late night eatery and this older lady was eye fucking me (something that never happens to me). Me and my buddy talk to her and find out she is the mother of the jewish kid who used to pick on me. We go back to my apt to hang out and after a while my buddy takes off leaving just us. This lady was in her 50's and heavy set. I was mid twenties and in the best shape of my life. We go into my bedroom and started going at it. I stand on my bed and she gave me one hell of a blow job and I very quickly put a huge load (I am in my twenties remember) down her throat and she even commented on the size of the load. I then walked her to her car. Of course I told my buddy nothing happened be / see this lady was just too old and heavy. She definitely bucked the stereotype of jewish women and oral sex.

I wanted to put it out there because I am slightly confused on what most would consider an ebony provider. When I think of ebony I think of an african american girl. I think of curves but not fat, exotic, brown skinned beauty. I thought that's what made us ebony girls ebony. When I got into this business, there were no, are no, ebony providers in the tristate. Then I started looking a little deeper into what folks were saying and when I did I learned that the ebony definition I was going off of evidently is not ebony. When your as light as some of the non ebony providers and you say your french, or carribean, etc. Does that qualify as ebony? If it does then what do I classify myself as? Black? I feel if you don't have an african american mother and and african american father, you are not ebony. Or is it still a stigma that any percentage of black in your dna makes you black? I'm just saying when I see a provider that's light skinned, and 110 lbs and says she is mixed with everything under the Sun. But african american, I do not at all consider that an ebony provider. So where do I fit. I m smaller on top than most. My waist is 23 inches, but I have a big butt. I have curves. I am the poster child for EBONY. Not Fat 32-23-43. Amazing Body that looks as if it was molded together, but I don't know if I'm advertising myself correctly. I'm not a bbw LOL. Should I advertise as one.? Just need feedback.

Based on my own travels and observations, and comments heard on the Cincinnati boards of late, it sure seems like this area has a great pool of provider talent. The rates tend to be lower around here than in many other places. Also based on long experience, it seems like LEO is especially active in this area.

This would lead to the conclusion that the enforcement activity is a complete waste of time and pretty much pointless. But does anyone have any theories about why that is?

I mean, we've all got our likes and dislikes and favorite segments, be it SWs, semi-pro UTR providers, chatlines, BP, higher-end providers, those who require references, those who don't. But all areas seem to be thriving. Even for all the grousing for how hard the SW trade is, most of the time I'm cruising through a hotspot (I don't partake, but do window shop occasionally), I can find some providers and occasionally get "the look" from obvious providers even on the outskirts of these zones at times.

I guess it's like one of those Facebook graphics.- the war on drugs brought more drugs; the war on poverty brought more poverty; the war on terrorism brought more terror; and the war on prostitution brought more providers.
