I went to a white strip club with some friends on wed and we asked 5 dancers to come dance. None show up. Another girl came and asked if I want to go to VIP, I said no. Was in Atlanta for for 2 nights a few weeks ago and was able to get out late on the Saturday night. I've been to a lot of the strip clubs down there but I seem to like Pinups over the rest. Got to Pinups around 2am. Now I can't stand waiting outside in line to get into a strip club but I refuse to pay extra to get in quicker. Got in and wasn't really impressed by much for about an hour. I never tip on stage (waste of time). I'm there to get a phat ass to ride the hell out of me. I was just about to leave when I was approached by a nice brown shin chick w / short hair, fairly small tits, and a very nice ASS. Very friendly too. Got a few dances and then moved to the area where they serve breakfast for some more dances. I asked her about VIP but she said it was closed. We then moved to that roped off area in the main part of the club. I had to pay security $10. Got some pretty good dances from her in all 3 places. Best dances were in the roped off area. Tried to negotiate for take out but she said no. All in I spent about $180 on dances.

Going forward I think I'm going to avoid Atlanta strip clubs on Friday and Saturday nights. They seem to be filled with dope boys and / or want to be criminals they want to shower women with money on and off stage. They chicks don't seem as hungry. You can catch a few here and there but it's more difficult. See my thing is if I'm spending $180 I want a BJ or something. Pinups is not a got place for VIP action like FS or BJ's. You're better off at the other black SC's for that. I only knew of one girl that use to let you get away with something like that back in the day but she got fired a long time ago for exactly that.

I think we are all kinda talking across each other.

First of all how you handle buying drinks will vary by your personal style, objectives, location, time of day, the girl, how you are approached, your mood and a dozen other variables.

Second, we all use common sense (hopefully)

At the risk of repeating myself, my point was simply that in ATL relative to other cities is easier to buy a gal a drink because in most clubs you simply are paying regular price for a drink vs. Some inflated price she gets a kickback on so the cost is lower. No different than lap dances. Here they are $5/$10 vs. $20. $50 in other cities (for the same or more mileage). So if I'm getting dances I think less about a $5 than a $30 dance.

Of course ultimately it is all about the money. If you are spending money (dances, drinks, stage tipping, VIP) you will get more attention and action. That said in some circumstances buying an $8 drink has an enormous payoff. When done right what it allows for is some relaxed conversation. For example, she sees you are not a creep, feels comfortable and agrees to do takeout with you or she'll go back to your place vs. Some convoluted 3 call-meet me at the Waffle House-get stoodup kinda situation. Does it work out every time? No! It is no different than prospecting in sales. You invest in a potential a bunch of potential clients. Some pay out some don't.

Don't get me wrong. I don't go in throwing money around, but I don't mind buying a drink sometimes or tipping someone well for good service whether it be in the club or a restaurant. I don't do it to score points or see where it gets me and I do know where to draw the line. Whether we like it or not most of us are just tricks. There is no way that the have feelings for all of us. I just don't like it when they try to take things for granted. For example you buy a drink and have a few dances. The next visit she orders a drink without asking and the waitress stands by waiting for you to pay. After that, I never let them dance for me again.

Drink "Hustle" not nearly as bad in ATL as most of the country. Here ladies' drinks are regular price ($8-12) vs. Some crazy jacked up price ($20-50+).

I really don't mind buying drinks if I'm hanging out with a gal. It does piss me off when a girl just outright approaches me and asks for a drink.

Mileage will vary but I've often found buying a drink much better than buying a dance, particularly if take out is your game. Varies by club and time of day. For example Tattletale a drink goes a long way. Dayshift better than night, etc.
