Duluth PD really is a waste of taxpayers' money. The only thing these Duluth PD officers are good for are writing traffic tickets. I have a friend who used own a shop on Buford Hwy near the Duluth city complex (which houses the Duluth PD) but long story short, he got robbed, he called the cops, it took Duluth PD nearly 15 mins to arrive on scene. You can walk from his shop to the Duluth city complex in under 3 mins.

Either way, the whole Duluth city concept is waste of money. It's a piss poor city govt.

I agree with your statement. Normally the Police and reporters will make sure they report that it was "YOUNG BLACK MALES" or "LATINO'S MALES" that did a crime to put fear in the hearts of everyone in the area LOL BUT in the case you have to look really hard to find out it was a WHITE MALE and a BLACK FEMALE that did this crime. To me it doesn't look like a pro hit or a Asian gang thing. They said it was a WHITE MALE and he was skinny to me they were maybe high off some METH or CRACK and needed a HIT and thought a Asian spot would be a easy mark. With (NO MALES) being there with mostly Asian chicks being there and with fast cash $$ on hands.

This was a strange team doing this crime you don't see to many (WHITE MALES / BLACK FEMALES) doing any type of crimes together.

This isn't the 1st time these SPA's been target some clown got shot and killed at the Gold Spa trying to robbed them. And at another Spa some guy went in there got some pussy and than grabbed his money back and than tried to robbed the place.

As times get hard with people out of work etc, this will keep on going on. ALL I can say is IF you go to these places and have a GUN permit I would carry one and have one on me. And make sure you CARRY just your CASH you need for the deed because sooner or later when the place get robbed again they will have all the tricks drop their wallets in a bag along with your rings and bling and make sure you get a room that can lock from the inside so you won't get caught with your pants down.

Damn! Curious who was involved, a local Asian gang thing or what. Or maybe local thugs thought they would be an easy target? And how the hell did the suspects get away? No injuries were reported in an overnight gun battle between robbery suspects and officers that left a Duluth police car and a massage parlor riddled with bullets. The shootout began when officers arrived at a robbery in progress Tuesday night at Tong Tong Chinese Massage on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

The two suspects jumped in a car and fled after exchanging gunfire with the two officers.

Police are hoping to glean information on the suspects from the patrol car's dash cam video.

"All of our cars are equipped with video cameras, so we'll have to go back and go through the video and see what we have there," Duluth police Major Don Woodruff told Channel 2 Action News."We'll have more information on the suspects and their vehicle later."

Channel 2 reported that nearly two dozen shell casings littered the parking lot after the shootout.
