I heard the worst possible news about Ruthie. I hope it's not true. Please God, tell me it's not true.

Although this news comes second-hand I believe it is true. Someone who is familiar with the guy on the Eastern Shore that she stayed with for a while tells me he investigated when her mother contacted him because no one had heard from her for a while. She says that he found she had OD'd a while ago. This information comes from someone who had known her since they were about 13 and in juvenile hall together, and had remained friends ever since. I don't usually cruise Brooklyn, but WW was dead today so I tried it. I found this Shannon on Patapsco near Tenth.
