I will be in downtown Atl in the middle of May for business. I'll be staying at the Intercontinental Buckhead in downtown. I was hoping someone could give me an idea of close by location of an AMP or place to get a relaxing massage. I'm not into the SW scene, BTW.

I'll be coming from the VA Beach area of VA and I'm just not familiar with Atl. Any help would be appreciated. Other Seniors feel free to PM me.

You have the Buckhead AMPs: Gold Spa, St. Jame and Aroma Therapy, all clustered together on Piedmont Road, Atlanta.

There's also Spring Spa at 1996 Manchester St, Atlanta and Oasis Spa at 980 Northside Drive, Atlanta.

None are within walking distance to your hotel so you'll need transportation. Also, know that Gold Spa is pricey and will initially quote you $300 for an hour massage w / FS. Negotiate way down or go elsewhere.

These AMPs regularly advertise on Craigslist and Backpage so you can find their contact info there.

I took a chance and popped into to Daily in Woodstock today. There had been mixed posts on here where some had had luck and other had not. One work. Terrible. There was no chance of HE and the massage was awful.

If there is someone there willing to make it a worthwhile experience then please share who to ask for. I got stuck with a slim woman in her 40's that had no technique and her personality was even worse. Look elsewhere in the Woodstock area.

Does anyone know of a "friendly" spot in the Woodstock / Canton area?

I know he asked specifcally about Atl, but aren't there a couple of AMPs north of ATL that he would have to pass by. One in Dalton and one around Ringold? Also, assuming he stays on 75 what about Sedona in Macon? I personally have never been to any so I have no idea how far off 75 it is.

Been eyeing that one. Thanks for the heads up. I've seen a bad review of her somewhere else (either here or a monger posted on BP). There was also mention of her pimp being in and around the area which was intimidating.

I assume you'll be driving south on I-75 so you can check out Therapy Plus in Smyrna. Usually they have one or two 40-something Koreans, but it's the only AMP in that area.
