I have to say, as another member of this forum who's from outside the immediate area (though a frequent visitor) that I only recently, after several years cruisin the K, noticed that Erie ends where Torresdale begins. In fact the only reason I would turn right onto Torresdale when northbound on Kensington would be to either check out DD or else cross over by McD's to head back down the K. It wasn't until there was some posting a while back about Torresdale SWs that I took notice of the street name change.

Maybe I pay more attention to street geography than some. No biggie.

All of which is to simply say that perhaps KK might consider not coming down quite so hard on CJ over such a petty geographical slip. Some of us are sign readers and others aren't.

I dispute that proposition based on what I read here regularly. I suppose I will find out as it applies to me if my contributions continue.

That's odd! I am not sure what point you are trying to make. But, it took me maybe 3 or 4 minutes to figure out that the DD in question was the DD mentioned in this forum. I took one look at the four or five girl standing around trolling for dates and said to myself, "Dis must be the place." I am a newbie to this Forum, but a long-time monger in Kensington. CookyJar has been posting here for 4 years plus And didn't realize that Erie becomes Torresdale at the K? Some oversights are understandable, but a raw rookie monger or LEO could have figured that one out on his first day.

I have been mongering on the K for a long time, but I have not become a member here or contributed until just recently. There seems to have been a lot of complaining about the relative unavailability of girls on the Ave recently mainly due to this strangler guy, who they now appear to have in custody. I did notice a drastic pickup of LE during the holidays and while they were looking for the strangler. Things are back to normal now.

It only took me one pass from north to south to scope out a number of good possibilities. There were many new faces. At least they were new faces to me and, like I said, I have been dating girls on the K a long time. There was the usual posting at Buckius, some fugly, fat, older WSW. There was a really pretty spinner at Sedgley but she was on the other side of the street and another monger had already stopped and was talking to her through his window. I circled the block but she was already gone. There was a plump, young, pretty blondie standing at an odd place, about 50 feet back from the K on Venango. I sometimes like the thick ones if they are both young and pretty, but I opted to keep going and see what else might be available. Further south there was a fat, fugly blondie at Ontario. My guess was that she would be waiting for someone desperate enough to scrape the bottom of the barrel. There was a thin so-so looking stringy-haired brunette waving down cars a block further down from the 7-11. The really good ones don't need to be doing that.
