Posts: 76Avoid Ginza Spa in P.B: A rip off ***** house!
Man, what a ripoff.
Friends went to Ginza Spa in PB on Bond Street last weekend, told me it was good but WAY overpriced (prepare to spend atleast 200 minimum for a freaking HANDJOB).
So last night I decided to try it. Friends told me they paid EVERYTHING, including tips, with credit card. So I went there with no cash.
Got in, rude lady on the door. Started giving me crap about no cash and charged me extra 10% for using debit card. KEEP IN MIND SHE KNEW I HAD NO CASH ON ME AT THIS POINT.
So I paid $90 for a body shampoo and a 30 minute massage. That's what I paid for. 45 minutes total.
After a 30 minute wait in the room with just a robe on, a skinny, rather unnattractive girl called Pink walks in and immediately start touching me inappropriately (hello? I could be a cop?). She rushed me to the shower room, you lie down on this plastic bed and she washes you with soap and scalding hot water. Pretty unenjoyable since the water was so hot. She was totally not into what she was doing and was pretty mechanical.
Shower took like maybe 3 minutes max. We went out and dried up and put my robe on, then went back to the room.
This is where things went downhill:
Remember two things here:
1) I paid already for a shower (which I got), plus 30 minutes of a massage. Paid and done for.
2) The lady who charged my card knew I had no cash on me.
As soon as we walk in room after shower, she just hesitates when she sees my reciept on the desk next to us, and she seemed upset it was a debit card. I told her not to worry as I'll pay extra with the card too, tips and all, like my friends did. She said in barely passable English something about having to use different cards, etc, and there is a minimum $20 tip FOR the regular massage THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR.
Haggled for like 5 minutes, no massage yet. Finally I just had it and started to get dressed. I tried to be polite and start small talk, but then she got rude, and pointed to the wall, telling me how it says $20 minimum TIP. I looked on the small sign, nothing about CASH ONLY or HAVE TO USE DIFFERENT CREDIT CARD EACH TIME. Nothing.
So I just left, they didn't even show me to the door. I was PISSED. I basically paid $90 for a 3 minute scalding hot body wash. Everyone was rude and obnoxious, and the lady KNEW I had no cash and thus couldn't even pay the minumum $20 "tip" for the REGULAR MASSAGE.
Bottom line? Forget menu prices, add atleast $20 to what it says because its not a "tip" if its REQUIRED.
I'm pretty pissed and might call the cops on them and give the cops a tip.
AVOID.

Posts: 181Some places may take credit cards, I do not know. But I would not recommend using a credit card. First, there will be pressure on you to spend more, and a temptation to so when the little head takes over the thought process. Also, if the place gets busted, a credit card leaves a paper and electronic record. So just bring cash, as much as you want to spend. You'll pay $50-$60 door fee, and from $20-$200 for extras.

Your best bet is to come south.- Sakura on Miramar Rd. , the places in PB (Ginza, etc.) or the other places reviewed on the board. Good luck and post a report after your trip.

Bolthead,
Don't pay with a credit card. This is not the type of transaction you want to have a record for. Just bring whatever amount of cash you want to bring. Be prepared to pay the prices quoted on this board.

Posts: 2chanel at Jae Hee (crystal)
I have read this forum for a while, first time post. Read with interest about the lady (Chanel) mentioned earlier, girl friend experience, hairy pussy, big jugs, blah blah blah. My experience, I went there, and asked for a body shampoo. She is professional during the wash, but no hint of extras. On to the massage, very professional again. I ask about extra services, she politely says no. I did NOT receive anything sexual at all from this lady. She is very beautiful, nice jugs, but I went there to sample the goods. I don't know what is the secret to unlocking her passion. Any ideas, or was I the only one rejected, because the other posts on another web site had VERY good things to say about Chanel.

Posts: 8Quoted for truth. While I have yet to experience the AMP scene, what you describe is certainly the case in mexico. One streetwalker will charge you 30 bucks and will be like a dead fish, while you might find a nice girl for 20 and she is having fun with you.
I'm curious whether I should come into the AMP with a set amount of cash, or do they charge you by credit card?
Now I just need some reviews of a few places I found up here in north county:
Moonlight Acupressure
Asia Accupressure
Asia Pain Care
You can read my TJ reviews here if anyone is interested in that scene:

Hey Mr Milk. Thanks for the input. I can see we're both on the same page. I have mongered all over the US as well as all over Europe and Asia and Latin America. OK, I agree we will never be like Cambodia where you can get a massage for $3.00 and and all extras for an additional $15.00. Montevideo with 2 babes giving a great massage and extras for $25.00. Thailand for an amount all over the map but with service that is second to none. But to put up with the Koreans with their attitudes and riduculous prices, well caviot emptor, or in English, there is a sucker born every minute. Let's be honest, the typically San Diego monger is one of the world's greatest FOOLS! like this guy who earlier in this thread pays $70.00 for a hj. I could have had a great bbbj &/or fs for this price. These Korean gals really love you guys. A bunch of losers willing to give them all their money while they consider you guys such incredible losers and FOOLS! OK, if you're some old fart who weighs 300 lbs with bad teeth and bad breath, do what ever it takes. I'm an old guy whose is overweight but not so much that I will take a bunch of shit when I'm paying the equivilent amount as what these gals could make in a month if they still lived in Korea. Hey guys...........get some cajones!!!! Be a man!!!! What's wrong with being a red-blooded American Male? The only problem is that you might upset one of our wonderful American women with the chip on their shoulders. The Korean women have taken their place and are doing an even better job at it..........Get a F**king life already!

Posts: 181Chukichz raises once again the long-standing debate that has been going on for years on these boards. I have been mongering for more than 20 years, and have been to AMP all over the US, so I am pretty experienced. Here's my take. First, I do not think what one monger pays (whether too high or low) has that much impact on what the girls demand. As long as you proceed on that basis that the girl is going to try to rip you off and get as much as possible, you have the right attitude. They all ask for more than we should pay. $200 seems to be the standard opening demand these days, but good FS is available for $ or less.

Or if I agree to pay $200 (which I never would), that doesn't mean other mongers won't get a better price. Ultimately, in my experience, price is dictated by two things: if the girl has had a slow day, price will be better, and vice versa. Also, if you have treated the girl kindly and with respect and she thinks you'll be a repeat customer, price may be lower.
For me, I am willing to pay more to a girl I see regularly who has proven to me that she gives superior service. The harder negotiation is with a new girl who has the potential to be a regular, excellent provider.- I hate to lose out on the potential for high quality, repeat service just because I was cheap the first time out, but I also do not like getting ripped off. Ultimately, each monger has to set his limit and stick to it.- eventually, by visiting a few places, each will find a provider that matches his financial and service expectations.

Hey Officer Bolthead. Why don't you look in all the places the rest of us look. I really dislike this BS."Hey, tell me about all your experiences". If you're curious, go get a massage and then tell US all about it. LE should work a bit more like the rest of us.......

What the hell is wrong with you guys!! There is no doubt the American male is the greatest sucker of all time! You guys are paying these gals way too much! The more you pay them the more they disrespect you. The newest scam is European Spa on Mission Gorge. They have a coupon in the Reader for $40 off 1 hour massage. You also get table shower. Not bad? Extras start at $100. I guess you suckers are willing to pay it. What morons. FS there is $200. I told her just 1 hour massage please. She wouldn't budge and I wouldn't budge. I got at most a 40 minute massage and out the door. I do NOT go to the Korean mp's any more. I had to see what was going on at this place. Never again......

Went there last week, first time in about a year. It does not appear that anything has changed. Saw Jean, young with a killer body but face ugly as a sack of a**holes. Great service, though. $1.2 cost. On my way out, saw a very attractive lady reading the paper in the lobby. Will go back to check her out. This place may not have the best looking providers, but surroundings are comfortable (one of the few places that still has mattresses on the floor instead of tables) and the service always is consistent.

Posts: 8Hey guys, joined up because I wanted your help with the AMP scene. I am a young vet of the TJ thing, done that plenty of times on my own.
But im in North County and the drive is a killer. Is this legit, this AMP stuff? By that I mean is it easy to find these places? I get massages all the time but its the total, by-the-book kind. real professional.
I never had an asian massage and I want to try it out.
I know the places and prices in TJ. I have no idea about the places and prices for AMP in San Diego county. Please help!
PS. Mira mesa is an easy drive for me so any in that town would be great!

Posts: 1Checked Out Ginza Last Week
Had a chance to check out Ginza Spa last week (Saturday), and had a fairly decent time. I say decent, and not great, becuase I made the mistake of going on a Saturday late afternoon following a payday.
I'm only in town on business, and so I take public transportation everywhere. I accidentally got off WAY early on the bus, and walked for about 45 minutes before I got the place. I must of looked really worn-out, becuase despite being extemely busy, the mama-san allowed me to hang out in one of the rooms, and literally take a short nap (about 45 min.). The room was nice, cool, and clean...soft music playing in the background...and since I really didn't have anything else planned for the day it was actually a nice respite.
The girl finally came in, and she was a pretty cute, mid-30's Korean. I'd give a definate 8 out of 10.
She gave me a fairly decent table shower - I've had the chance to "sample" several having spent the last two years in Japan (Okinawa). It was nice to feel her hands on me, and as always the occassional "accidental" brush against certain body parts.
We then went back to the room for about a 15 minute massage, followed by "the question." I had $80 on me, so I thought I could atleast get a little something, but she started right off at $100 for anything! After ten minutes of back-and-forth (Korea is a country that expects haggling over prices), I got it down to $70 but felt I was still getting robbed. [That service was less than stellar, by the way].
Afterwards, she actually continued giving me a legite massage, hitting all of the points that I requested - I was actually in need of a legite massage. She was also very personable, and gave a decent performance in trying to pretend to be interested in me. She was sweet, and won me over when it was all said and done (perhaps making up for lack of skill in other areas?).
Over all experience - a 7. I chalk it up to coming at exactly the wrong time, on exactly the wrong day as far as price goes. Nice, friendly staff, though.
