Regardless, if you are street mongering, get them in your car and move out of the immediate area. While leaving, make sure you aren't being followed.

Without knowing the area at the time. I have acted like I was going through with it and once we both got out , I simple got back in my car and left.

Another option if you are in a legal state, drive to a close lit public area ,like a gas station and let her drunk ass act up. She will get out cause now there is a PI waiting for her if she persists. I have rolled down my window and got out to watch the show. Of course you risk car damage this way but not assault charges. Do Not agree to take her any where, when asked to you know you won.

Luckily have not been in the situation to that extreme but did pick one up that got in the car and realized she was just to wrecked and nasty to do anything with. Remembered advise from a post on here from some time back and drove around the corner then took the next left/right/etc and acted paranoid and said "Damnit did you see that cop coming down that side street/alley/etc, you better get out at this next corner and wait till its safe/etc to pick you back up" It got her scared and the second the car stopped she was ready to run and hide in an alley.

So maybe that will help you out, also let us know the general area it was in so we can put 2 and 2 together if someone here picks her up and gets the same invitation to her place.

OUCH... Three hints, but RTFF for additional pointers.

1) Know your district. If you read RTFF, many streets will be indicated (sounds like you did this, but worth a review). Frankly, a W(SW?) in a B neighborhood is a good indicator. Best time for mongering may not be obvious. Night time may not be the right time. Afternoon may be better: better vision, less competition, and less LE.

2) Do not drive too fast, and look into their eyes. IN passing, learn to read them as in the monger primer: If they look right at you, and have even half a smile, you have a nibble. Give them a nod. If they wave too much, beware.

3) Drive around the block, iturn up the sensitivity of your LE radar. Pass them and pull around the corner, let them come to you and get right in. After performing the LE check, offer a Lincoln for advice about the scene--where, when, who NOT to pick up, etc. Have her slouch down in the seat (so LE does not stop you for merely having that friend), and ask her to give you a tour. The 0.05 spent here is easily worth 0.5 in the future, not to mention note of scams and stings that may be around.
