Absolutely reasonable to need to prove your identity.
Being a dude myself I know I don't trust a single dude period in a world where your best friends will rob you blind. I suggest getting verified and not being a douchebag treat the ladies with respect and be a gentleman because in reality not a single one of us would want that job.

They can say it's for the protection of the girls all they want but after two decades of doing this job it's like 20-1 chicks ripping off guys over guys doing something bad. Additionally there is NOTHING stopping them from selling it, trading it when you get busted, using it to extort people. As a pimp they have already shown a willingness to use the desperation of others to enrich themselves, if they found a way to make a buck with the info they would.
I am not bullshitting you, make another fucking user like this and there will be consiquences that will hurt your business.
