I hate it, but I'm inclined to agree with you. Crystal Asian Spa (one of the Kirkland ones hit) was one of my regular spots. They were a little pricey, but convient. So, that's an L for me. I've decreased my hobbying a lot. Between ridiculous rates (if you're still charging 400/ hr in this economy, read the room) and the Cup Crackdown, it's too hot right now. The raid on the OnlyFans house in Bellevue also gives me pause. Obviously, they can't shut everything down in the next two weeks. But, saving some money and laying low isn't a bad idea. If folks still got to do their thing, I'd suggest staying TF out of the city proper and going to more seedy areas versus nice ones. As much as I loved Crystal, they were in a really nice area, exposed and obvious, surrounded by housewives with hubby's money and lots of time to snoop and snitch. I'm sure folks have reported them before. The Cup just gives towns and cops an excuse to do something and look "good" in the process.

Also agree, got my regulars and I'll stay with them. I don't think SBs are generally a huge risk regarding LE but I honestly can't fuck any more than I already am so why risk it?

I've been at this hobby a long time. Probably in some ways too damned long. With a few multi-year breaks along the way.

Right now, for whatever reasons, we seem to be in the midst of a large crackdown on the hobby. At the moment it is most visible with streetwalkers and MPs but I suspect it will bleed over into escorts (agencies first, then indies) and strip clubs soon enough. Also the fact that this crackdown seems to be regional rather than in just a few specific locations makes it massively different than the many past moral panics.

Part of this, but not all, is due to the World Cup coming to town and a bunch of people wanting to clean things up.

So what I'm trying to say here is that folks need to stay frosty, stay alert, and keep their heads down. This might be a good time to take a vacation from the hobby.

Right now I am adequately provisioned with two decent SBs who get the job done for me and one possible one (that I can't recommend in any way) that I am cutting loose.

Keep yourselves safe and out of trouble and this will blow over in time.
