Apparently thats the general consensus with you guys here. The fact is, he could have thwarted this. The guy obviously is a foreigner, so he probably did not know the laws. I thwarted a sting operation once and the woman was kind of average looking.
If she tries to make a hard offer of money for sex over the phone, or in the room before anything happens, it might be a red flag. He could have walked away at any time before making his offer.
Foreigners are the highest risk groups for getting caught for this.

Upper Arlington Woman Accused Of Running Prostitution Business Out Of Home.
UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio. An Upper Arlington woman is being charged with prostitution after allegedly inviting men to have sex at her apartment.
Lisa Robinson, 40, was arrested at her apartment on Chateau Circle Monday morning.
According to police, Robinson advertised her services on a website, and respondents were invited to Robinson's residence, where the illegal activity occurred.
Police served a search warrant at her home, and evidence supporting the alleged illegal activity was seized.
Anyone with additional information about the activity in the home is asked to call UA Police at 614-583-5160.

ABC6/ FOX28 also uncovered previous charges of prostitution and drug abuse in her background.
The women in the trade need the money to survive... The cops are the bad here... If the cities were to give the money to women shelters instead of $500/ hour cops to put people in jail, and cost the tax payer even more $ yes that would be a solution.

Any thoughts? I did notice weird log in issues the last month. Probably pure coincidence but paranoia always sets in when you read about these things. How safe is that site nowadays?

I'm not a rumor spreader... But I'd have questions in regards to the safety of the site. I requested my account be deleted and I was red squared. Account wasn't deleted. This was my second account through them and they had no problem deleting my first account.

PI has 17 felony counts against him and Mallory has 11 I believe. Both are looking at a very long prison time. If PI goes to trial and is convicted on all counts it's pretty much a life sentence at his age. If Mallory is convicted on all counts she will be in her 60's when she gets out of prison. They might take a deal and will still go to prison. They also could take a deal and give up information on escorts and there clients.
Most of the women on that site are old and ugly. Few are pretty but you can find those women like that on Eros. I wouldn't say that site is safe.

I wondered what happened to it.
I posted it... and then it was taken down maybe 5 minutes later. I got an email from the moderator saying it was violating board rules because the article mentioned names. Duh... it was an arrest article. Then after a little bit, I was red squared. Obviously one can't warn others about what happened to the people who run the site. It also screams to me that LEO might be running things now. That's just my opinion though. :)

But with that said I don't worry about logging on and reading what's posted. There is no law against viewing the site (assuming no minors are involved). And I doubt PI or Mallory will be offered a deal for information on clients, and even less likely for information on escorts. Police like to trade up for information and not go after smaller fish.
I am not sure how the BB program (they use) works, but most collect log in information of IP address. Also collect IP addresses when you post. I suggest you log in using an anonymous proxy server or use switchproxy (a firefox extension).
Always a good idea for the BB owner to use a server from a foreign country so US subpoena can't reach it. (as easily.. If site violates international law is one example of exception).

If so, I would anticipate seeing more SW's with big nasty sores...more so than the usual MRSA cases. I would anticipate that the infection could be contagious as is MRSA.

The damaged tissue is much more likely to become infected, much like a diabetic is at risk because of the tissue damage it causes. Phony Cop, Girlfriend Arrested for Prostitution Robbery Scam.

REYNOLDSBURG (Ken Hines / Terri Sullivan) -- A couple used a police badge and a phony prostitution advertisement to lure a victim to a motel room, where he was handcuffed and robbed, according to investigators.
Joseph Dean and his girlfriend, Marcie Phalen, are behind bars after allegedly robbing a man who had agreed to pay Phalen for sex at Days Inn on Brice Road in Reynoldsburg on February 22.
The victim told police he arranged to meet Phalen for sex after corresponding with her online. Once at the motel, the man was allegedly confronted by Dean, who identified himself as a police officer while wearing a badge around his neck, according to investigators.
Dean allegedly handcuffed the victim, robbed him, and threatened him with a stun gun before leaving the motel room with Phalen.
The victim chased the suspects as they made their escape, and documented the license plate number of the getaway vehicle, which he then relayed to police.
Officers traced the car the Dean's Reynoldsburg home, where police found a badge, handcuffs, and two-way radios allegedly used during the robbery. Investigators apprehended Phalen and the couple's suspected getaway driver, and then caught Dean three days later in Hilliard.
Phalen is charged with obstruction of justice, and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday. Dean is scheduled to be arraigned on March 10.

According to the organization's website, the Flores aims to educate students, parents, professionals and motel owners and staff on the red flags of trafficking and how to identify a victim.
The S.O.A.P. Website states that human trafficking is the second leading crime in the United States. Ohio ranks fifth in the nation for human trafficking.
Flores' organization has also held events at the Super Bowl and The Indy 500; and plans to travel to the World Cup games in Brazil.

There must be some black market out there for adolescents? I have never seen nor experienced this kind of activity. Could this just be media hype, or is this a real issue in Columbus? I don't see a higher frequency of BP ads related to the Arnold Festival. IMO, you are more likely to find younger providers on the SW scene?
