I've seen some good looking girls on Cicero near Roosevelt, I was wondering if this was real or would I get busted?
Probably busted.
I drive on Cicero sometimes during the morning from the Ike south to Archer, and also drive it north from Archer to Roosevelt every day at night around midnight.
I've yet to see somebody "good-looking" without some squad cars nearby.
I too have seen a few in the past 6-8 months. also a few blocks south near the new gas station. Be very careful in Cicero because the cops are very tougn on us hobbyists.

I was out the other night and there were 3 SWs working the area just NORTH of Roosevelt on Cicero- 2 WSW and 1 BSW. I picked up one of the WSW's, and had an OK time, and gee, I didn't get busted. That is a carefully watched area though.
SOUTH of Roosevelt you are in Cicero itself and the LE situation gets quite difficult as MWM points out. I see WSW and HSW almost every time I drive through there, but am wary of LE so I don't stop. The Karavan is a good hangout spot of what are generally crack hoes. The gas station at Cicero and Roosevelt is another good spot, but the station owner there is fussy about girls in the lot.

I agree The Cicero cops are all over both the girls and the mongers. There is a lot of enforcement on the Chicago side also, but your odds are better. The last time I picked up a girl near that motel at Roosevelt and Cicero, I made it a whole block before the Cicero LE pulled us over. She was a cute 20ish girl too- always the way isn't it? Local BSW's from around 16th and Pulaski area. They played that area because of all the truckers going in and out of industrial parks in area.
I've been watching Cicero and North pretty close over the past few months. Three weeks ago, they pulled a sting at the Marathon gas station between Roosevelt and the railroad tracks. It was two brunnettes trading off with a black girl. That was about 9-11 pm on a Friday night. Later, one of the girls worked the Karavan hotel where there was a sting going on there. Personally, I would make it a point never to go near a girl that does not move around or travels in pairs. Even walking with a pimp makes me nervous. According to the changes in the law you don't even have to offer someone a chance to get in your car. If you signal or show any sign (cop's discretion) of being interested they can pull you over. As someone said earlier, they are booked up. Besides, they really want to clean up Cicero and 47th to Western and 47th. There is an alderman down there who makes a lot of noise. Whenever I patrol down there I notice several stings in progress; the number of johns showing up in Clearpath show their grim results.
As for the north side of Cicero and Roosevelt, I would forget it. I've checked out the area and it is too easy to plant an officer there as an observer. They can observe most of the usual places the girls hang out. To stay out of trouble, I suggest being polite to the locals.--- don't approach anyone until you know they are working. Second, never meet a girl that won't move. Third, never meet anyone in a neighborhood where people are watching. If you can, tell the girl to meet you in some discrete place where nobody is around and you won't draw attention. This can be a fun hobby if you don't piss off the locals, block traffic to oogle a girl, or be so obvious the cops cannot ignore you. I think most of the cops are probably pretty cool about dating but not where it disturbs the scenary. And, go to a hotel. Don't do it in somebody's backlot or in front of their house. Don't draw attention and the cops, at least most of the cops, may leave you alone. They'the rather get a drug dealer than one of these girls or some pathetic john. To them, nailing one of us is the booby prize at the county fair.
I hit 47th about 10pm on monday. There was a hot hsw getting alot of attention near the fire station by Pulaski. I circled and, it didnt feel right. So I didn't pick her up. Anyone try her out?

Good thinking! If she was hanging around in one spot it might have been a sting. And if there was a lot of attention and you picked her up people who take notice and that's no good. You want to be discreet as possible when picking up a sw because people like to be in others peoles business.
Sunday morning I had to go to the Westside for some business. When coming out of the store at Kedzie & Madison I noticed a semi attractive black female walking in. Was driving down Cicero Thursday morning and saw one of the red heads at the gas station on the west side of the road about 1/2 way between 55 and the airport. also saw a BSW waving at cars a little further down.. and another on the east side of the street....
I was surprised to see so much activity at breakfast hours.
Took a lunch-time run down Cicero avenue near Archer. Occasional really decent looking young BSW. Stick with the young ones - its safer.

The devil overserved me and my brain was malfunctioning. Have no idea on eye colour. She seemed white to me; but, she could have been a light skinned Puerto Rican. I doubt it though, because she had no accent. Tall girl, maybe 5 10 and not fat, but not skinny. I would term her "healthy" or athletic body type.

Picked up Carly on Halstead near 147th, WSW blonde hair 5'6, did not appear to be on anything.

Last night I strolled down Halsted from 159th to 147th, 1st roll down the street it looked like a SW convention just let out, they were all over. I was out two different times Friday night for about an hour or a little more each time. Once was around midnight and the other was around 5 am. After scouting 47th, cicero, ashland 51st and everything in between, there were two that didn't appeal to me that were together near that mexican seafood place on 47th West of Pulaski and other than them, it was a waste of time. I probably should have headed north tried North ave, but I was hoping for fresh local talent.
I used to live in Chicago and used to stroll on North and Sheffield, also, in my old neighberhood of Rogers Park. Now I live in Wisconsin and am worling in Chicago for the week. Last night I took a ride and found absoule nothing at all. Where are the ladies at now? Can nanyone help me.

It was Rocio who first noticed the woman who appeared to need help.
It was 8 a.m. when she and her husband, Erasmo, dropped their 6-year-old daughter off at school and had picked up their 22-year-old daughter to go out for breakfast when they saw the woman waving her arms at 53rd and Kedzie last November.
"I'm so lucky I was with my wife," Erasmo said of his arrest on prostitution charges. Erasmo 51, explains how he was arrested for soliciting a prostitute with his wife and daughter in his car.
The couple laughed, realizing this wasn't a woman in distress after all.
But within seconds, Chicago Police swarmed the family car, hauling Erasmo out in handcuffs. He was charged with solicitation of a prostitute
His daughter, who had just run in to exchange her coffee for a hot chocolate, screamed, while his wife cried in fear.
Eight hours later, Erasmo , who has no criminal record, was released from custody. And weeks later, charges against him were dropped.
Now, Erasmo is suing the city and the officers involved in his arrest, saying they violated his civil rights during an incident he described as both frightening and ridiculous.
"I'm so lucky I was with my wife -- imagine if I had to try to tell her and she wasn't with me," he said, before laughing at the image. "She'd never believe me. Never."
A Chicago Police report offers few details, saying only that it was Erasmo who asked for sex, never mentioning his wife in the car or his daughter nearby.
Attorneys Lonny and Joe also want to know what happened to the family's 1983 Mercedes. It was impounded that November day and, Erasmo said, his wife and daughter were even threatened with arrest as they tried to stop police from taking it, as they were left stranded that morning.
The city wants more than $4,700 in towing and storage fees if he wants the car back.
City officials declined to comment on the status of the family's car and the Palacios case, while the undercover female officer involved in the arrest couldn't be reached.

Was out and about yesterday about 4 pm. I see this tall slim ebony fox, about an 8 or 9 walking west. I honk and she did not bat an eye so I am thinking that she is not working, just looking in the mirror of her make up case. Just for grins, I turn around and come up to the street a few blocks from where I saw her. Wouldn't you know, this dude in a silver truck is talking to her at the stop sign and she hops in. Not that they were making signals to LE, but there's plenty of LE in the area regardless.
