Yes, the willpower factor matters so choosing a GFE only girl helps. One factor of switching from bb to GFE is just getting used to it. I get testing regularly and got all negative tests. Over a year ago is the only time I recall feeling something off, so I took a break and got tested some weeks after to account for the incubation period. Tests came back negative. So it was most likely one of those bacterial infections that aren't too serious compared to gonorrhea or chlamydia.

So to answer your question, no. It's not necessary if you can stomach the risks. Otherwise you got to take precautions for peace of mind at the very least.

Part of the reason I don't want to take any meds is because I read a lot of them can be harsh on the liver. I drink a lot LOL. That's a whole other can of worms I got to sort out on my end but suffice to say that drinking while on meds can almost guarantee liver scarring. No thanks.
