If you deactivate your profile it is gone until you log back in to view profiles, read or send messages. Some girls I know will do this to stay completely hidden, utr or give appearances your the only one they are doing business with.

I ran across this once before with a girl who made some change that was "under review".

When I logged in, my messages with that profile were no longer showing in my inbox. So, I guess they removed the profile.
