I had a similar experience about 18 months ago. Went to Seven Pools (on Maui) looking for Kay.- a total hottie.- she and I had much fun in the past. Mama told me Kay was no longer working there. So I queried one of the girls who reluctantly told me Kay had moved to Club Tokyo. So off I went.
Arrived at Tokyo and there she was. She's a total bomb and I had not seen her in awhile. Didn't have much cash so out came the CC. Poor planning on my part! Several drinks later I ask to close my tab and it comes back over $400! I go to Mama and say WTF? We go over the tab and I find Kay had ordered a couple glasses of wine and they wanted to charge me $100 each! She had also ordered drinks for Mama and the DJ (yes, the DJ! ) without asking me. So I asked Mama to reduce the charges. I told her I would pay $20 for each wine and would not pay for the drinks to the DJ. Fortunately for me, Mama was reasonable and agreed
To top it all off, then some knucklehead wanted to fight me in the parking lot! Evidently Kay had been sitting with him before I arrived and he was not happy she bailed on him when I showed up
So lessons learned, leave the CC at home, pay cash drink-by-drink, if you must use a CC then ask for a full accounting, and watch out for knuckleheads in the parking lot
BTW that was the last I saw of Kay. She's no longer on Maui and I heard she may have gone back to Korea.

I can second that. I've had a couple of experiences where the little head took over and ran up charges of $600 once you go to the karaoke room and buy the bottles. Better to go to an AMP several times instead (or have 2 girls at once).

Another member reported that Miki mama at Evergreen and the mama at D'Amour would add shit on after he left, hence one huge amt on the statement. I wouldn't put it past him to be doing that sort of thing. I've known Johnny many years, but NEVER ran a tab in his place; cash only. I only run tabs where I feel comfortable with the bartenders; but lately, I've been sticking with cash. As I once heard a bartender yell out to a table, "You trust da bahtenda? "
Linda at New Saigon Nights was straight up with me re: the back table, said it would be. 4 so I declined cuz I think she might pull the shy routine once we're back there. Plus she takes good care of me right at the bar as is. Plus, a previous girl who seems to be gone took me back there for. 2 for naked fun.
Sounds like a lotta guys are having trouble with. 4 girls.

I totally agree with that! I have witnessed alot of guys complaining about the charges. Not only they are changing the drink prices but they also add on a few, especially when there is a group of girls there. This guy was kind of yelling that he only bought this one girl 2 drinks but on the tab it had 4 for her. WTF! I trip out on some of these girls! They think we stupid when we drunk or what! ? Our wallets loosen up and also the zips but we still can count! Hehe! Most of the time! Like the saying goes. Always leave home without it! Credit card that is, not the rubber! LOL!
I learned this lesson too, but my experience wasn't quite as bad. It was back at Bon Soire in the early '90s. The bill they handed me had the correct charges, including the $$$ bottle of champaign for the private booth. But as it turned out the dancer I was partying with (I think she was a Thai named Janel or something like that) had gotten the card "authorized" for way more than I actually spent.
There's no real harm there as the authorization drops off in a few days if it isn't actually used. But as it happened, I was going on a business trip in a couple of days and needed to use that credit card only to find out that there was a hold on it, maxing it out. The credit card company told me where the authorization was from, so I called the club and explained the situation to whoever answered the phone. She, in turn, gave me Ford's cell phone number and said I needed to talk to him. When I called him and told him what happened, he was very understanding and called the credit card company to remove the hold. No harm, no foul, just inconvenient. But I resolved never to use a CC again in a bar like that.
This story has an even happier ending than the one above. When I was with Janel that night, she allowed BBFS and I "accidently" CIP. So all in all I guess it was worth the minor hassle. Still, lesson learned!

I'm single so have no problems using a cc, I like the cc because if there was a problem I would go to my cc company and reverse the charges. Besides I would rather the girl gets drunk so I can get some action, not as easy to get action if I'm too drunk. Some girls get "looser" and "hornier" when more drunk btw.
If I go to the room I usually ask the girl and waiter exactly how much it will cost me in the room. That way I know if there are added charges and the waiter and the girl know that I am on the ball with charges so hey don't try to pad the bill. If I do get another bottle for the girl I would again ask how much the tab will be.
Yes, some of the added "charges" if you don't watch out are the added drinks for the waiter and bartender, mama, other girl, etc. A lot of times the girl will try to get you to buy everyone there a drink, usually I tell the girl I would buy them a drink but don't ever expect me to buy her a drink ever again. That is unless I get some good action, then it may be worth it depending on the price. Lately the standard has been $$$ for the room so I hardly go to the room. Some girls still do go for less, $. 2 for soju for the girl or $$ for wine but it depends on the girl, many won't go for less than $$$ since out of that, the girl only gets $. 8 at many bars. I know some girls that still go for $. 2 soju or $$ wine but they are rare and only because I'm a regular they go, they know they can get me for the long haul rather than the higher price and hardly go back to the room again.
And for sure, no f*n $40 drinks.
Went here around 4:00 yesterday. (Started off at Misty's, but they only had a bunch of mutants working there, so I tanked my beer and went next door).
Bought Lena at Cache a drink. She's an okay looking Chinese chick who is 30-something with an enhanced rack and a tight coochie. Went to the room for $$. Licked my nipples, then my balls. BBBJ for a shortwhile. Put the cover on and did CG, mish, DS. I had a good time, but don't know if I'll repeat since there are hotter chicks out there.

It sucks going out and knowing I have to be counting my drinks plus theirs so I can dispute these over-sized bills I always get handed. And what if they add a 1 to what you actually did sign for? I obviously can't go back and say, "Hey Johnny, you charged me too much 5 days ago." Arguing with a bar manager when you're drunk sucks. I'm pretty frustrated with being ripped off and will just take my business elsewhere like Exotic Nights or a Korean bar.
This isn't the first time something like this happened to me there. One time I sat with 2 girls and got handed a bill for $500+. Then Johnny tells me I was buying $40 drinks for each. I told him if he charged me that much that I was never going to come back. I think I ended up paying about $250 that time. He knew he was wrong. And now this?
Very sad day for me. I've really enjoyed SP in the past. But going back and giving them more money would just make me a sucker.

Johnny's been charging $40 drinks on tabs (cc or cash) after 2 AM for the last 18 months. His justification is that it's after hours and prices go up after 2AM. Be happy that you didn't buy a bottle on tab, because that would have run you $500 + the 10% service charge.
