I've spent a lot of time in the casinos over the years, sometimes it's hard for a guy to figure out if a girl is working or simply in town for vacation lookin' good and hoping to get noticed. The Venetian was interesting. I have stayed there a number of times, but I thought there was a bit more CG activity than the past. The Circle Bar in the middle of the casino clearly had a good number of CGs. I thought that it was interesting that most were not what I would call high end. The Venetian is an upper tier hotel / casino, but the CGs at the bar were not of the elegant variety. Don't get me wrong, there were some hot CGs present, but they could be spotted as CGs from 50 yards away.

I've noticed a few people have mentioned discussing prices before taking a CG back to their room. Couldn't that be cause for arrest? Or are laws different in Vegas? If I were a picking up a SW on the street, I'd do the "prove your not LE and let me touch your boob or crotch" thing before talking any prices in my car but obviously this is not going to happen in a casino. My main question is: is it safe to discretely talk prices and services on the casino floor or should that wait until your room when you can do a proper LE check? Montana[/QUOTE]Based on my experience and observation, I would say yes, it's safe to discreetly talk specifics to a girl on the casino floor. As far as I know, LE does not send undercover agents into the hotels to bust clients. The hotels don't want to see their guests getting busted inside the hotel. If that happened, it would create a scene and bad PR for the hotel. As far as I know, undercover cops are only used on the street. However, it is true that hotel security can and will sometimes question girls and / or ask them to leave. But the hotels would not bother a client unless he was causing a problem, like approaching civilian girls asking them if they are working girls. Wait for the girl to give you "the look" or to approach you before you talk to her and try to talk to her in a discreet place.

LEO will not go to your room alone, so you have better odds of knowing that the girl isn't out to bust you. On the other hand, make sure you're thinking with your big head before you invite a stranger to your room. If you're drunk, you may get rolled.

My own experiences have been good. None of the girls were ever LEO and none ever tried to rob me. Your mileage may vary.

Sounds like my odds are pretty good of not getting busted, even if discussing prices, as long as I'm careful to stay inside the casino, invite them back to my room and not cause a scene. While I admit that I have never been in a Vegas casino, I have had very good friends who were in the millitary and stationed at the base outside of Vegas in the 90's. Though, I didn't beleve them, the story as they related to me was this:

The casino's they frequented had paid girls in the casino to distract winning gamblers, until they started loosing. Sent out to try to see why someone is winning so much. In the event of suspected cheating and the cameras couldn't catch it, It might have been a descreete way of observing for cheaters up close without scaring them off.

Plus I would think that such girls on the payroll (which I also have heard about) would be in the salon with the whales. I was playing a good amount, but certainly far from whale status. I was alone, which would lend credence to the possibility.
