That sucks. I only use my credit card at the bar if I'm making a one time charge to go in the champagne room because I'm suspicious if buying drinks they'll try to pull that bullshit. And in the "tip" part of the receipt I always fill in 0 and then fill in the total on the line below it. Thanks for the warning. Personally, in strip clubs I would follow the policy of paying cash, drink by drink, and not using a credit card. Otherwise, in that type of sleazy environment it's not difficult for problems to sometimes occur, especially when a customer is under the influence of alcohol and women.

For a long time now, I have passed up on the Kbars and hit the amps after drinks at local hole. I didn't know I've been gone that long. $40 drinks. That's nuts. So do they tell you the drinks are $40? If you are happy with paying that much, then that's cool with me. Enjoy yourself, but to charge you that much after the fact is dick.

The biggest danger here is if you run a tab. You're thinking it is 20 but when the tab comes, its $40. Always pay cash if you can, besides the bar likes cash more anyways because they get the full amount right away and some other reasons as well. I'm generally opposed to $40 drinks but not if they give $40 value for it. If they are $20 and suck them down fast then that equals a $40 if they take a long time. When they slam a $40 and then ask for another 2 minutes later, it's time to pull the plug on that girl.
