- majority of women who carry it are are asymptomatic;.
And the icing on the cake:
- It's antibiotic resistant.
There is an entire reddit thread dedicated to discussion about how many rounds of treatment people had to go through just to get rid of it.

The typical treatment for Mycoplasma is a treatment of doxycycline followed by a treatment of azithromycin or moxifloxacin. Even after you get a negative test results, residual symptoms can last for a couple months.
