They say with no direct evidence they can't do anything. The lady and her husband have been following Joe around town last couple weeks. Last I heard they have demanded 1000. Now he's got the police involved and they are planning a sting.

The fortunate part of this situation is that Joe is a single guy. It cost him some money but didn't cost him a marriage. Imagine the situation if this were to happen to one of us married guys. It probably has. But we would have little choice but to pay up and try to find a creative way to get out of it as quietly as possible.

We all take chances when we see a provider. It just highlights how important reviews and feedback is from each other to protect our backs. I think for the most part all we really have to deal with are providers with drug problems and STDs, which is bad enough. But there are a few out there that make it just plain dangerous. And ruins a lot of possibilities for the decent providers out there.
