In the Ticuan there are rooms right in the middle of the two towers where you don't hear any of it. Or take a chance that the front desk gives you a room on the other side away from the club. I always just book the middle of the hotel room to be safe and pay a few extra dollars.

I posted on the international thread about sticking to a $900 budget on all future TJ trips for at least the foreseeable future. Very manageable if your not buying many lady drinks or need to bang only HK chicks every few hours.

There are some decent cheaper hotels on the outskirts of Zona Norte. Considering staying at these hotels during the beginning or ending of each trip and just drinking and partying those nights and times until I have my Cascades or Rizo hotel room.

Trying to recall the checkout and check in times again. I believe you can check in as early as 2 or 3 and can check out up to 1 pm, so you can almost have a room for 24 hours. You could do a bar girl in the afternoon, at night, and again the next morning all for only 1 night hotel charge. Even better if its a Mondat / Tuesday with 70% off with VIP card.

If time is limited then this won't work but if you have the time then TJ is much more bang for your buck.

Finally went down to see if it was all that special. Walk in and pay the 55 for the first half hour to the house for the "massage" which is a glorified rub. Then they bring out the line up. Take a taxi to the Hong Kong club and don't pay more than 5 bucks. They will sense that you're a rookie and try to hustle you for ten bucks. Just keep walking up to cab drivers and say five bucks to Hong Kong until one says yes. You can actually catch a bus for less than a dollar but that would require knowledge of the area. Then on your way back do the same, or tell the valet guys at the front of the club that you want a ride to the border and they will arrange a courtesy ride back and just tip them a couple bucks. If you've read up on some reports you know not to pay a girl more than a hundred and the room will cost you 30 for 30 minutes. They also have an option now for 40 for 45 minutes.

First off, communication was a piece of cake. It took a few tries and it would seem these girls tend to book up fast / have limited availability on weekends. You can either catch the blue line or green line depending which more convenient. The blue line runs along fifth av. The green line runs along Harbor dr. It is $5 for all day. It is easiest to download the Pronto app & pay that way. With Pronto app you activate ticket at stations. They have these machines on a pole. You can either walk, take the taxi van or take Uber. You can also use InDrive ride share. With InDrive you pay cash. It is only about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the Zona. Just head toward the arch. Just head west and walk through the old shopping mall. From there you walk across pedestrian bridge From there you head up the pedestrian street. It is probably best to catch a ride back to the border at night.

I don't think walking that bridge at night is a good idea. The bad guys know you are heading to the Zona with a few hundred. The area there is deserted with abandoned storefronts and bleak.

Bars are required to check girls' IDs, registration, work permits, STI test, but even in the strictest and most lucrative bar like HK doesn't always do it. Other bars are less strict and have foreign girls working. Have never seen health inspectors checking health cards in any bar, except when there are large police raids, like every 10 years.

Street girls are subject to health card checks by inspectors. I have seen them on the streets with girls and records. Street girls tend to be more sexually conservative. I have not met one in TJ with a smelly, dead-fish pussy in 20 years. Bar girls are wilder, do lots of kinky sex, about half have stinky pussies, which are proof of STI. It's worth it to get a global entry card, but it is not necessary for your first time at all. All the times I've gone there has not been a wait getting back into the US. I usually cross back over around 10 pm on weekend nights. There is a border wait website somewhere too.

HK girls seem to be $100 these days, then I think rooms are 30 for 30 min or 40 for 40 min. Tip the guy who gives the lady her coat a few dollar. Tip the guys who clean the room a few dollars.
