Just booked Ticuan last night for this weekend
Anyone know what happened to Hotel Ticuan? You can't book them on any of the usual booking sites like Expedia etc.
Its very hard to find a quiet hotel room in DT TJ. Most are near clubs and the boom from the clubs makes it super hard to sleep unless you like to start sleeping at 4 am.
In the Ticuan there are rooms right in the middle of the two towers where you don't hear any of it. Or take a chance that the front desk gives you a room on the other side away from the club. I always just book the middle of the hotel room to be safe and pay a few extra dollars.
$125/ night or thereabouts. Hotels.com.
Ticuan is back on Expedia now
Anyone have advice on this place.

All I want is a good nights sleep and not much requested. Anyone stayed there before and if so is it near Loud bars?
Thinking of trying TJ for the first time
Any seniors here can DM me on tips for a first timer wanting to try to visit TJ. Literally I've browsed your guys' thread often and it seems pretty straight forward but 1) I don't speak spanish and 2) I'm a city slicker all my life. Must appreciated if you can detail your steps to me and once there who to ask for and what are my options. TIA.
Payment / tipping conventions for thw spa based brothels
Like the title says, what are the tipping / payment conventions for a place like Spa Luxor or NB elite? If the house fee is overtly for sex. What should you be tipping these days?
