It was the 2nd biggest ripoff I've ever been to. I can't remember the name of that place, but I went there once, and its been closed for at least two years.

I never went in but passed by and noticed it and was aware of their advertising and reviews. I have no idea if it is still in business but it was still open as of a few years ago.

It was bought a few years ago by the same guy who owns Paradise Showgirls and Synn in COI. Rio has always had mostly Latinas but the last few times I went there was mainly AA dancers. The place is dead during the day but I hear gets lively at night. Dances are good with good mileage but not the greatest privacy in VIP. Single dances are on a long bench with no privacy either. The dance prices are good (3/$40 nude dance specials often). Thursday's they offer dance specials like Synn does, with discounted VIP's.
So been here for 3 days and it seems as bad or worse than Vegas. I expected as much. Should have posted in here before I waisted a couple nights.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's been significantly hipsterized with all that craft beer / DJ / dance-floor-why stuff, and I highly doubt there's any FS or even HS to be had there any more. I went their in that late 90's and it was a s*hole back then. Though the area has improved I have heard nothing positive about Gold Diggers. Though KHVIII and Starz are places I didn't even know about back then and love now, best "bang" for the buck and hot AA girls!

Area is way above average compared to most US metro areas for strip clubs, there is virtually nothing in the central part of the city where you are staying. You'd have to travel to even find a couple of lame bikini bars. Maybe the closest hardcore action club to Koreatown is Skin on Robertson Blvd. South of Beverly Hills. If you are looking for a mongers' club it has everything you want at incredibly inflated prices. If you want decent action at reasonable prices, you need to travel to San Gabriel Valley. Specifically the City of Industry, San Fernando Valley, the South Bay area (a couple of decent clubs near LAX and some others that are more eye candy than action). All of these areas have their own Strip Club threads on this site.
