Yes, Bonnie lives in Charlestown and sometimes works near the Boston Herald. I had FS with her. Afterwards, she gave me her digits but I haven't had the time to see her again. I would recommend.

Beware Dot av tonight
On my way home from work I saw 2 bicycle cops and a undercover car with the 2 cameras on the trunk at Savin hill ave. Then I saw 2 more bike cope riding down dot av near Freeport with 2 marked cars about a block later. Then 2 more bike cops and 1 regular uniformed cops at Adams. I don't know what is going on but I am staying away. Also I saw 0 girls.

I drive past there twice a day five days a week. You will find nothing.

The two cameras on the trunk scan license plates. It will automatically scan plates of vehicles and check against a database of stolen cars and warrants. So unless you have a warrant or are driving a stolen car, I wouldn't worry about that. The bike cops are the ones you need to watch, they're very sneaky.

Thanks, that's about as clear a message as you can get. Is there anything within a 15 minute drive?

If you check the cambridge thread you will see there is not much.

I just came back from doing laps on Dot ave (and Brockton) and they were there again in their high-visibility jackets. Even for the half hour or so I cruised before they showed up there wasn't a single SW out, not even the skanky homeless types, nevermind anything worth picking up.

Maybe

Recon last night
Did a recon last night from 12:30am till 2am and here's what I saw.
Dot Ave
There was one BSW out there, nice thick body just the way I like it. Next time I'm out will look for her.
BHA
The houses that are across from American Legion Hwy and down 2 Talbot were opened for business. Saw at least three BSW either hanging in the doorways or on the steps. May partake the next time I out, just that that area is very, very hot.

Car plate scanner
I think I saw the same car in the CT area, this one was silver or gray and there were about four bike guys around the corner by the hospital. Does this car take pics?

This is the model that I've seen in use in Brockton and Boston (I'm sure others have it as well).

Here's a few quotes from their web site.
"The images of license plates are scanned by infrared light housed in each camera head. The infrared light scans the images of license plates and then simultaneously translates those images into computerized text in the span of milliseconds."
"The MPH-900 can capture up to 3,600 license plates per minute! Day or night, rain or shine, the MPH-900 is working to capture hundreds of license plates per second."
"The MPH-900 captures a color image of the license plate, date and time stamps, and GPS coordinates of the vehicle. This data can be reviewed in relation to investigations and can help lead to critical breaks such as placing a suspect at a scene, witness identification, pattern recognition or the tracking of suspect individuals."
Apparently they also make fixed versions as well which could be mounted in high crime areas...
I may have to amend my previous statement about not worrying about these things now that I've done some more research. There is clearly the potential for this system to be used against people like us. The question is will they use it for that? Or will they use it to catch the real criminals? Only time will tell...
Stay safe, and happy hunting.
