In my dreams - 100 is the price of regular black tea. Entry level basic. Depending on your nego skills. You may get sugar and cream thrown in even for that 100. But nothing below a 100. Starz has a "room" as well I think it is extra.

Strange, the earliest reference I could find for Star Strip was 91/92 era so I'll need to search deeper into that one BUT I did discover the Century Lounge (mid to late 80's) when searching for Star Strip.
Much appreciated! On another note its pretty sad how there are very few vintage images of LA strip clubs from the 80's. Ya I know these were not a community icons but very much still Los Angeles history.

It was the first thing I noticed on my first business trip to L. A. In 1983 before I moved here.
I believe Star Strip was definitely open by the mid-80's though perhaps another name.
If we're expanding to Lennox with Jet Strip, there was at least 1 or 2 other clubs across the street on Hawthorne in the 80's that were gone by the mid-90's or earlier.
Back to Hollywood there was a topless club on Sunset in the worst blocks of East Hollywood. Forgot the name. Sign outside may have identified it as something like Aladdin but I think they were using another name. Later on it expanded briefly into a nude club which have usually met quick ends in Hollywood proper.
Since there were no real lap dances in Hollywood and it was close to home, 7th Veil was my favorite with a full bar and very hot pussy flashing on stage and along the rail by beautiful young dancers. By the end of the 80's it had become illegal to serve alcohol in nude clubs so I caught the last call of that party for a few years after I moved here.
It's more of a Hollywood type art piece. Like in the Motley Crue era but much appreciated.

Tom Waits mentioned it in a song: "It's cold outside! Colder than a ticket taker's smile at the Ivar Theatre on a Saturday night. ".

I think we're talking only about full nude joints here. Nut sure when Bare Elegance and Jet Strip started up, but there was a place on Century with a big sign that said Nude Nudes. Next door was a topless place (so they could serve alcohol). Customers could move back & forth between the 2 establishments.

By the late 90's / early 2000's it had been renamed Tulip's. Divine Brown used to dance there. She became famous for giving a BJ to Hugh Grant in his car until they got interrupted by the police. I can't speak to the present but when I was hitting Starz years ago it was 1 of a kind with incredible talent, booze poured by friendly bartenders, rail side pussy so up close and personal you could earn a gynecology degree if you were a frequent visitor, good lap dances for a good price, and even great food. I thought it was the best "pound for pound" stripclub in SoCal.

The current officials may lament the loss of good business for Gardena but they still don't have the balls to repeal the regulations no matter how they may really feel and how many hot nights they themselves enjoyed in the clubs.

Girls were as hot as at Hollywood Tropicana girls, beer were low priced, never participated in shaving cream wrestling myself but enjoyed lap dances with kisses, I still remember once, some hot looking girl gave me a mad passionate dfk. I moved to L. A. 3 years ago but I remember about 15 years ago when I came out to visit I went to some strip club near LAX where you basically picked a girl, and then you'd go to a private room where she would dance in front of you and there were tissues you could just whip it out and jack off. Now I doubt it exists anymore as the only strip club I know of near lax is bare elegance, but does anyone remember a place like this?
