Thinking of heading down tomorrow and was wondering about the action on Sundays. During the day. I hope it doesn't rain. Tijuana sucks in the rain. If anyone has any info on what time on Sunday is good to go, let me know. Moe.

Last Sunday was slow. You are probably better waiting till Wednesday nor Thursday evening. My guess is that the rain will slow things down again. The weather forecast also calls for a increasing chance of rain in the afternoon and a 40% chance of rain by 6 pm. The other factor is the good ones do not come out till around 2 or 3 pm

Hey guys, just a quick question.
I have a misdemeanor record (DUI) and I was wondering if I can cross mexican border and come back with my green card (not a citizen) without any detention time.

So long as you don't have any outstanding warrants it is not a problem. If you do than do not cross since the CBP will immediately detain you and turn you over the the Sheriffs dept.

After living in SD for years and hobbing even longer I decided to finally try the goods in Tijuana. Recently got Global Entry so get back is a breeze.
Headed across around 1 on Saturday. Very busy getting in to Mexico, took about an hour. Walked to the pharmacy for some little blue pills then took taxi to the zone for lunch. From there walked and eventually found Adelitas. Walked in and immediately got approached by a few girls. After a few minutes went up stares. Good fun for 60 plus 14 for room. After finishing up stopped at Hong Kong. Had a few beers and hooked up there to for $80 and 18 for room. I passed several girls along the street that would have tried. Next time. Hk was entertaining to hang but to much high pressure. The guy's kept trying to bring me girls and wanting tips for bringing them by. Also invited to VIP room but to spendy. All in all good time and now I know the ropes will be better prepared. For guy's who are nervous about their first trip to Tijuana, Just know much easier and safer then taking your chances with some girl on BP who turns out to not even be the girl you get.

Hey are any of you interested in taking a field trip down south? I've been wanting to visit HK for the longest time but don't know anyone who would want to go. So I'm looking for a couple of people to tag along with and have a good afternoon out.

I have a good buddy in Chula Vista who I talk to recently. When I cross I always go with my Mexican Amigo.
Heading out to the zona today in the afternoon.
I am going down Fri around noon if anyone wants to walk over with me. I will need to leave you though around 2-3 pm as I have a fav chica I hook up with. Also going to try and do the $30 deal at MetroPCS for Samsung S7.
Also might go down on Sunday sometime.
I went last weds. I parked over on the otay mesa side by the ihop restaurant. Did not have any probs crossing over. Listened to other posters on the taxis. There's been some changes. It looks a little different from last time. When you cross over there is a taxi stand to your right. But they charge you twenty dollars to take you to the zona. I just crossed across the street like the others said to do. Walked over under the bridge. Took a left and saw a taxi driver making a left turn on the next street. Followed him where the other drivers parked. I asked him to take me to the zona. It took about thirty minutes to get there and he only charged me eight bucks for the taxi. Went to the hk bar and I am not impressed with the place. It's basically a clip joint. I had a better time at adelitas bar for a better price and better service from the girl.

Is there a specific reason why you park all the way over in otay to go to ZN? On a Wednesday I wouldn't think there would be much of a line walking in or back out and the parking shouldn't be too bad in San ysidro. I never have problems parking in San ysidro and since ped west has opened up there isn't much of a line anymore to cross back into US. Just curious. Moe.

Those lines are horrendous so I just cross the otay side with no issues waiting in line.
