We have a flu shot, we have flu meds, flu is not spread at the rate as this virus. The flu does not attack your respiratory system as this virus does. The flu does not overwhelm our hospitals & infect hospital workers at this alarming rate like this virus will. When we run out of hospital rooms then what do you do with the normal injuries and sicknesses that happen daily? We still do not have enough test. If you think this fake news visit your local hospital in two weeks and take a look for yourself. Human nature we don't believe unless we see or feel it I get that but by then it will be too late. Just take one simple example have you ever seen the flu wipe out almost an entire retirement home? Rant over we are risk takers that why we monger but decades of mongering with several dangers this one has stopped me in my tracks.

Hospitals running out of the ability or capacity to handle a surge is scary. My question and concern noted in my recent rant post is the panic shutting down local business's and Corporations. Is this the correct action to take? This affects Millons and Millions that are one or a few paychecks from disaster. Of course if I get the virus then it's easy to then say oh that's why they are shutting everything down I sure hope I survive OR It can also work the other way when you are healthy and now have no job to pay your bills you start to ask did they really need to close everything, the average person is one or a few paychecks from disaster. The economic / jobs threat of this situation is very dangerous and as you say has stopped me in my tracks as well. It's very early but I predict the word unemployment will be mentioned as much as the virus.

Influenza (Flu) is the most common cause of pneumonia which is also a repository system virus. It's all serious but a lot of people who get the Cold or Flu never see a doctor and they ride it out at home. Right now because of hype people with any kind of symptoms are going to the doctor. Pollen is out and people are sneezing and coughing but people will rush to the doctor and exhaust the available COVID19 test kits when health officials should be saving them for those in the high risk category. The elderly and those with pre-exisisting health conditions (Diabetes and Cardiovascular alignments) should be concerned about COVID19. Alcoholics and druggies should be worried because they already have weak immune systems. The homeless should get to a shelter and practice good hygiene. I'm more concerned about politics overriding sound judgment, unnecessary panic that leads to foolish decisions and the economic impact.

Gotcha I have way too many people in my orbit thinking this is not real. Well we can only looks at Italy & China to and see the ramifications of actions vs no actions to curve the trend line. I feel you on the economic front but when I see Billionaires closing shop on their own before a government mandate I feel more comfortable that this is what we need to do. I know a ton of people in the medical field and the terrified as they go to work ever day risking their lives & their families lives in a bigger way than they ever had before and on the other side kids are partying at the beach like life is normal. I think either way we would be screwed do nothing and the hospitals get over run would bring the country to a standstill as well. Just image a football stadium of 80 k people and just 1/2 get infected and the local hospital has 500 beds that are half full already.

1.) I wasn't referring to any specific Hooter's girl. I just meant "shoot your shot" - via social media, etc. That's what I am doing.

2.) Dancers / Strippers. Same point. They are out of work -- make them an offer they can't refuse.

3.) Waitresses / etc -- while I WAS speaking of someone specific in this instance, it's someone I know and I take the time to "cultivate" potential UTR situations. They're trying to get you out of there and finish the "dream" ASAP.

And just how a provider changes over time when they discover that this business isn't what they thought it was going to be, mongers (ones with a modicum of conscience) go through a similar transformation. When I first started this hobby at age 19, I thought these women were mostly in this for the reason that I was, the thrill, and of course the money. But over time you begin to realize that you're largely dealing with women in desperate situations who are doing this because they feel it's their best option to make money, for many of the reasons that you mentioned above.

Knowing all this, it began to affect my dreaming. Knowing that what might be a decent dream for me may be a nightmare for the provider, and not because of me but because this person is doing this out of desperation in many cases. Am I the only one who feels this way?
