This thread has devolved into scam reports. I think there are two reasons: (1) there are fewer A+ girls throwing it around for reasonable rates, and (2) guys are keeping their girls to themselves because of (1).
You never know until you try it it's for you. There's a lot of frustration with scammers and time wasters. You have to keep your head on straight and be patient. You need to think about logistics, time, hotel rooms, etc. Most of these girls want at least a little connection / attraction.

It is absolutely guaranteed to be cheaper and easier to find a pro if you factor in the time and hassle involved. So it really comes down to what you're looking for.

You're probably familiar with the stories about organized crime syndicates in Asia kidnapping job seekers and forcing them into a confidence scam operations. Seeking is ground zero for that type of thing since all of the men are there to spend money on women. It's easy to spot the fake profiles once you know what you're looking for, but still, I'm glad I'm not having to deal with any of that because it's just such a pain in the ass to sort through all the scammer BS.

I told her in no uncertain terms that it would be a very painful mistake to attempt any type of extortion and that her best course of action would be to shove it up her ass. She got all up in her feelings after I had to cancel a meet, (after she'd ghosted me once previously), I had came down with a cold and didn't feel like doing crap.
Had another one pull the"had a detective call me about sexting with a minor that had attempted suicide" I politely told said detective if he was serious about speaking with me, I wasn't very hard to find. I have found that the easiest way to avoid BS is stay over 21 yrs old, and any profile that has the True Love tag in what they are seeking is guranteed to be a scammer. Pics that are TGTBT are almost always a dead giveaway if combined with the True Love tag. 95% or more of the Asian chicks are fake, for whatever reason. Names like IntelligentIngenuine, GratifiedHotness, or stupid shit like that are always scammers. I'm still working on picking out the content sellers by their profiles, but those are more difficult. They want to give the illusion of availability, but never available.

I had two recent situations where the person asked for money upfront for various reasons, and both had real names in the profile (ex. Mary123). Looking back, including my current SB, I've always had luck with girls with fake names (ex. Peaches or baby something). Just thinking a real person would want to stay mostly anonymous.

I've had both scammers and good luck with names that are typical of their algorithm (usually two word combos like TemptingSiren or AstuteDiva, etc.). I've also had good and bad luck with user names that were more obviously individually selected, including those with an actual woman's name incorporated into it.
Pictures are a better barometer. You can tell that some are in Europe (a dead giveaway unless it's a college girl or a milf -- 20s to 30s year old waitresses rarely are able to go to Europe and get perfect photos for Seeking). You can tell from the style of palm trees that some pictures are in California, another sign of a potential scammer. Some are too perfect like they're professional photos, which is a another red flag. And oddly enough, early to mid-30s Asian women without a clear face picture are almost always scammers. I'm not sure why.
Even then, I'll message with almost anyone. The scammers become pretty obvious pretty quickly in most message exchanges.

Just move on. The momentary exhilaration of flaming isn't worth it, in case someone really takes issue w / the site mods.
However, I have posted my approach to shakedown attempts. Short version. Tell them that what you are doing might not be nice but it isn't illegal. However extortion is a federal felony, and their messages provide all the evidence LE would require to track them down (w / resources you don't have to do so). They usually stop at that point.
